This was great during the high heat using it not only for our rope lights but our Misty Mate at the same time. I must say the Misty Mate made it actually enjoyable sitting outside in the 100+ degree heat, it sertainly drew the people to see us to see how we were able to keep cool and not even have to go to the water park!

We have had a rope lite for years that gave off just the right amount of light to read by and not light up the whole campground. Always has been a pain to put up and take down using those single rope lite hooks. This product has solved that pain. Rope lite is a snap to install and take down. You could even leave them installed on your awning and roll everything up together if you wanted to. What I did was to leave about a 6 gap in between each section of trax. Then I just remove the trax and lights together as a unit and fold them up for storage. The 6 s allow the lights to bend without putting a strain on the wiring or the bulbs, (You may have to adjust the gap for your type of lights). Now it is breeze to put up or takedown the lights. In fact I have a sun shade screen that I leave attached on the other side of the trax and fold & roll everything up together and stuff into a old tent bag for storing.

Took a chance, hoping Light Trak would fit my 2009 Roadtrek. It DID (with a little help from rubber mallet). Easily cuts to size (11'8) with hack saw. Trak did not create any noise during travel. Expect to leave in place year-round.
