Received my order of RV awning clamp in record time. Lost a 20' awning last summer and thought new awning would be trouble free. No such luck. In high winds, it too vibrated and bounced up and down. We were really concerned that we would see a repeat of last year. Ended up with bungee cords around the awing and stretched across the roof of the coach to stabilize the awning. Bought two of the awaning clamps and installed. Awning is very secure and no bounce even in high winds. Be sure to measure the distance from the two attachment points for length of clamp link section. Our awning is exended above the level of the roof making additional links necessary even with the additional ones that come with the clamp. The manufacturer was very accomadating sending additional links out at no charge. I am very pleased with the product and the safety it provides. If you have had an awning blow over your coach and billow into another lane of traffic you will appreciate the security this item provides.
