I bought 2 sets 6 years ago. They worked fine for under the tongue jack and for leveling the trailer. I bought a 3rd set 3 years ago because when leveling the trailer and using some under the tongue jack more blocks were required. I will be buying 2 more sets to be able to level the trailer, put a stack under the tongue jack and use some to lessen the extension of the balance scissor jacks. I like them and they beat the daylights out of wood blocks for weight and versatility. Lowering the count to 8 instead of 10 means fewer blocks per purchase. However, these blocks by Rambler are still 2.5 cents per block cheaper than the identical 10 pack by Trailer Life.

Wife called them campers leggos. They are as easy to use as leggos. I liked them so much for ease of use I ordered another pack of 10. A lot handier than carrying around 4x4s or looking for flat rocks.

I purchased 4 sets of these blocks several years ago, when there were 10 blocks in each bag. The price continues to climb, and the count drops to 8 per set!~ I would have given a 5 star rating except that the count was reduced to 8 blocks per set. They do work as advertised.

We had purchased a set of the blocks and found the set we had to be enough. Then we were put in a camping site that was very unlevel and angled with big holes. We made due with some small boards from the family but were wishing we had more of the leveling blocks as they work so well, thus it prompted me to buy another set.

The blocks are very sturdy and well made. But to place them under the tires, a minimum of two sets is necessary. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the fairly flimsy bag, which hopefully if I'm very careful will be OK.

As we were setting up our fifth wheel and ordering over the Internet for our up coming 12 month trip to the US we bought this to enable us to at, least get started. It does the job ok and none have broken so far. In some instance stones get caught in them but not a big deal. Only limitation is their thickness would be nice to have a half height.

Yeah I got these blocks. and as long as you are on concrete there great. but not on hot tar, clay, sand, or soft ground. being hollow bottom they sink rite in, and then you have to dig the dirt out to be able to put them back in the bag. So for the same price, go to the lumber yard, buy a 12' treated 2x12 and have them cut into 4- 2' and 4-1 sections. use those instead. or as a base and the Legos as your fine tuning.

Nice idea, but not what I hoped for. DO NOT use these plastic leveling blocks/pads when your rv is on a hard surface. The first time I used mine I was at a Michigan DNR state park campground with paved campsites. When I rolled my single axle 19' travel trailer up on the pads the lead pad broke and the next two in cracked. I have a 10 block set and only had them set up 2 pads thick. I'll stick with my wood leveling ramps and use these under the stabilizer jacks when needed.

August 29, 2012
I recently bought, based on reviews, two sets of the leveling blocks. The decision to buy two was supported last week in a campsite that had 3 inch drop on one side. Yes, I could have positioned the unit differently to avoid the situation but the view would not have been as nice. We have a 21' Starcraft travel trailer with tandem axles. It took me a couple of tries to figure out how to get both axles up on the blocks, but not a lot of time was waisted. The blocks are light, interlock well (read the directions) and stay put.I simply make two stacks of the blocks and set them just inside the door of the rig.I sure am glad to get rid of the many wood pieces and their weight. Recommendation: Buy two sets along with the matching Lock and Stop.

August 28, 2012
These blocks are ok if all you are going to do is lower a jack from underneath your motorhome or trailer on them. I laid 2 beside each other and a 3rd across the top connecting the 2 on each side of my motorhome then placed this arrangement on top of a 2 x 8 block of wood and then proceeded to back my 28ft motorhome up onto them. As the wheels got up onto the 2 x 8 then hit the yellow levelling blocks the lead yellow block on each side cracked in half.

Originally purchased two sets since we have dual wheels in the rear. We were afraid our unit was too heavy to use them. Makes leveling so much easier on the sloping sites. We bought two more sets and put them under the leveling jacks too. Less stress on the jacks and less stress on the frame if you can get the unit level first. Recommend for any rv!

My old leveling blocks were showing signs of wear, so I decided to try these newer style blocks, They are much sturdier than my previous sets, and the interlocking feature that allows me to use the matching wheel chock sold me on this purchase. Price was right, and shipping was prompt. Highly recommend both.

These legos are a must have for any RV! I already have twelve, but I ran into a situation where I needed more and had to McGyver my way into leveling my trailer. They are very sturdy and with a wide base on them you will always have enough room for your tires or your tongue to sit on them without any worries. I don't feel that 8 of these are enough, you never know when you will have a large space between the ground and your stabilizing jacks that you need to fill with these.

I've been carrying wood with us, for years of camping, all cut to different links in a tub. Didn't want to spend the money. But with gas prices higher, I decided to bite the bullet for lightening the load. I bought 3 packs, used them this weekend, and was surprised how much easier they were to use over the 2x6's. Only used two packs with tire leveling, jacking support, and then found them useful around the campsite where I needed a little extra life under our sewage hose. I carried the wood with me just in case, but won't be anymore. I bought the yellow ones over the orange ones after reading a review that said the oranges ones were a thinner material and cracked easier.

After camping for years and using wood to level things we finally decided to try the blocks. We are so glad we did. Great help for leveling the RV

0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.
March 11, 2012
Why carry heavy boards as cargo to help in leveling the RV? Not me! That's why I have three sets of the Ramble leveling blocks. It makes it simple to help get the RV level and then I use them (as needed) to help when extending the stabilizer jacks. Sometime the ground is not level so I use these blocks to take up the space so the jacks work and reach the ground without over-extending.

Don't Pop Your Windshield!

1 out of 3 people found this review helpful.
February 21, 2012
We recently purchased a new (2012) motorhome, and as we discussed the workings of it, one of our concerns was the wimpy stabilization bars that were very small, and even flexed on uneaven ground (splayed a bit). We used motorhomes on the lot to show that one of them demonstrated our concern....the manager told us (new to us) that the support legs should never pull the wheels off the ground, nor have one taking the most weight as it can pop the windshield right out of the unit. He said we needed to be sure to use leveling blocks, and so I purchased these immediately. They look easy to use, are contained in their own storage, and appear strong. Easy storage and usability.

Had concrete poured on the side of house where MH is stored. Concrete owner talked me into having it slope so the water wouldn't pool up on roof and made the slope more than I thought it would be. I purchased the 8-pack Ramble leveling blocks which solved the issue. Because of the price I ordered another set. just to have.

I like the design of these blocks...i.e. the solid construction. Previous block (orange in color) , while OK, did not hold up well with extended use. I think these will hold up much better.

Real Men Do Use Store Bought Leveling Blocks

October 14, 2011
Was told by several guys that old 2x6s would work, so got out the chainsaw and cut myself a stack of levelers. They worked. But they were bulky, heavy, got damp and attracted dirt easily. The plastic leveling blocks at the store were light, compact, came in an easy to carry sack and looked easier to hose off. So I bought a couple sets. Let me tell you, they are much better and also easier ot drive up onto.

RV Leveling Blocks

They work great if you don't have an auto leveling system on your motorhome, I would suggest 2 sets of 8 to get at least 4-to 5 inches per side, not good for sloped dirt, need to have a flat surface to use .

With the RV leveling blocks we have reduced the weight of our RV and truck. Plus the blocks are so much easier to carry and slide into place with little effort. It makes setting up our RV easier then when we used heavy boards to level with.

The only bad thing you can say about these is that their isn't enough of them sometimes. This is a great, sturdy set of leveling blocks that can be used incombiantion with RV jacks or as underlayment for wheel leveling. Very useful and neccesary tool. Beats having to carry around 2x4's or other wooden blocks to help level your RV.

Don't waste your time trying to use 2x6s or 2x8 to level your rig. These blocks are lightweight, clean, splinter free, and easy to use and store. Get 2 8-packs from the start and you are covered for almost any situation.

Works well on grass and dirt

August 29, 2011
Work well on smooth surfaces like dirt or grass. They are made of hard plastic and will deform or break. On my first try I used them on uneven grass with some stone scattered about. One block bent about 1/2 in down in the center to conform to the ground which cause stress cracks in the center. Another block had one corner on a small stone which caused the corner to break off. Not bad for the price I paid, however, these will definitely need to be replaced in a season or two.

Just like Lego's

July 22, 2011
I recently purchased this RV leveling block kit from Camping World. They are just the right size for easy storage and the soft storage case that is provided, is very convienent. The blocks snap together just like your Lego's did when you were a kid. They are approximately 1 inch thick so you can adjust how high you want to lift one side of your trailer/RV simply by adding or removing another block and driving up on them. They also work great with your leveling jacks.....the build quality is very good yet they remain relatively light......overall great product.

These Ramble blocks are lightweight but yet heavy duty. They are a very flexible system, especially when used with the lock and stop wheel chocks. These blocks make it really easy to level your rv and none have broken unlike some others I have looked at that were cheaper but also easily broken. Love them, the only item that marked it down was the bag is pretty flimsy (although it is a nice accessory to keep everything together in your rv so they aren't flying around or getting lost.) You do need to put something down so they don't sink in too far on wet ground. Grading ONLY the blocks I would give them a 5.

Keep the box!

April 10, 2011
Not a perfect review, because I puchased thinking the storage bag would be the best part. However, one set arrived with a broken zipper-pull and another not sewn properly (bad seam.) and the thinnest nylon I have ever seen. That's ok, because THE BOX they come in makes a sturdier, easier to use storage container that will protect them from banging around. Just drop them in upside down. Turn the box over to dump them out.

long lasting blocks

I have had 2 sets of these for about 2 years and none have cracked like a previous brand. Very sturdy. I have used them on concrete, loose gravel, sand, and soft dirt with NO problems with slipping or sinking into the ground. I have a 30 ft trailer weighing about 8000 lbs. I have even used them twice to change a flat trailer tire and I use them for my leveling jacks. I highly recommend these blocks.

Better Than I Thought, Very Strong

I was kind of sceptical about these, by the look on-line, and the catolag. But after we got them I was supprised at their strenght. We have used them several times, and they hold up great. They hold together well and stack together like LEGO blocks. They hold in place as you pull camper up on them, we have a 32 ft gooseneck and they hold up well. And they do not scut on the ground as you pull up on them. I am going to buy another set, just to have on hand. Some sites are not very level. They are good to put under leveling jacks as well.If you are putting jacks down on wet ground. They keep jacks from sinking. Just good to have.Every one who has saw me use them ask where I got them, and said they were going to buy them Thank's Camping World, Duane E

These leveling blocks are the best blocks I ever used. They are stronger than the other brand. I really like the flat surface so I can use as a jack pad. My friend also has a few sets and he loves them because these blocks does not dig into his tires. The best leveling block I ever used.

Not worth the money

We bought 2 sets, thought they would be great, but they are not. All they do is crack and break. Everytime we use them another one or more breaks. Sometimes pieces go flying, which could cause problems or hurt someone. Totally not worth the money. I guess we'll go back to wood blocks.

Cool RV Lego Levelers

August 10, 2010
I've had these blocks for years and they work great. Easy to adjust for side-to-side and front-to-back leveling by adding more blocks as needed. The only downside to them is that you have to put down a small piece of wood if you're parking on loose gravel or softer ground (due to how they stack, they're hollow on the bottom), but that's not a big deal. They're more stable than a stack of wood and take up much less space in the storage compartment.

GREAT PRODUCT FOR VALUE

October 19, 2009
Bought this set when first purchased our tent trailer, and it works great, comes in a nice zipper pouch to keep them organized. Only drawback is set did not have an integrated chock, and regular chocks tended to slide/move when placed of the blocks. Now, this brand is offering an integrated chock as well (which I have added to my gear), so it is now perfect! It is less expensive than the Lynx system, and is nice/solid/heavy duty plastic.

Blocks great - bag not so much

September 25, 2009
We've been using the leveling blocks for 2+years now - love 'em. We've used them to level under the tires, under the front jack and of course as support under the stabilzer jacks at the four corners. Much better than trying to deal with wood of various lengths and thickness - not to mention these are lighter and take up very little space! The biggest problem is the bag - we've taken very good care of our blocks/bag, however the bags are starting to show signs of wear - especially at the bottom corners. Would be nice if replacement bags could be purchased.

They make our trailer stability lives easier!!!

September 22, 2009
We love these yellow blocks...in fact we now own 5 bags, for our Komfort 30ft Travel Trailer. To make the stabiltiy process easier for us we found that it was just easier to keep the four bags of blocks in the bag instead of taking them out at each location. The 5th bag we use for leveling the side that needs it...these we do take out of the bag. To keep the bag secure and to avoid tearing them we do the following: 1-We place a small flat piece of plastic (the size of the blocks) that we purchased at Camping World and have attached a piece of carpeting that matches the size of the plastic (from scraps of carpeting) to the top of each plastic and place the plastic on the ground, then place the "Bag of blocks" on top of the carpet. 2-We open the zippered top of the bag and lower the stabilizer jacks on to the yellow blocks. For our trailer we typically use all ten blocks in each bag. We have have used this procedure for over two years...and have not had any issues. Keeps the bottoms of the blocks from bending/breaking due to any rocks and makes it much easier to remove...as we travel to many campsites on our trips. And should the bottom of the bag start to show signs of wear...good old "duct tape" will help keep the bag protected.

broken blocks

We have a camper truck and therefore have limited space for storing leveling blocks. This product is easy to clean and convenient to store but over half of our blocks are broken into two pieces after only one year. We rarely need the full set but when we have to level on a large slope we cannot do it with the set broken.

March 11, 2009
My husband and I LOVE these blocks. We use them for the leveling jacks and the trailer hitch! We plan on getting another set for those times you just have to park on a slope! The only negative is the durability of the storage bag. Ours is falling apart after only 1+ years. But I can deal with that. Cost is very reasonable with the Club price!
