Description

Automatically stabilizes the vehicle, enabling you to maintain straight ahead steering through front tire blow-outs, potholes, uneven pavement, ruts, bumps, and side winds. Safe-T-Plus steering control provides positive centering capabilities, reducing wear and tear on all steering assembly components.

The Safe-T Plus was initially installed for the safety benefit in the event of a front tire blowout. However it provides a much more relaxed steering/tracking over varied and undulating road surfaces virtually eliminating the steering fine tuning while going down the road. A real plus.

Cost me over $700 to have the blue version put on my Damon UltraSport on a Freightliner chassis. The handling might be some better, but couldn't tell a whole lot of difference -- pretty much a waste of money...

I installed it in case of a tire blowout but it sure made my 40ft DP handle better trucks and especially crosswinds no longer affect the rig at all
