This product makes it so much easier to close the screen door, especially when we have the grandkids around. It's so much better than trying to find a sturdy place to grab onto and then they end up pulling the sliding plastic handle door half off everytime they close it.

The Cross Bar was very easy to install and it is great for closing the doors. I now have something solid to hold on to and don't have to open and close the access on the screen when doing so. In the changing weather the doors are sometime hard to close and now with the bar you can pull and it closes. I know if you install them on your doors you will find it to be a very worth while addition to your camper or RV.

These are a must have product. Our grandchildren had a tough time looking for somewhere to hold on when entering and leaving our camper. I had seen these and read such wonderful reviews about them, and how they helped to stabilize the doors. I decided then to order two so each door had them We are so glad we found the answer to our problem.

it was not difficult to put on. The sheet of paper to set the length and screw holes was a little awkward. However it really works great to stabilize the screen door. I am glad I got it.

Fantastic addition to our 5er - like several others havesaid, this is so helpful it should be something all the factories install in every RV. I would only suggest having different finishes - oil rubbed bronze would be a nice option.

This is a good product overall but getting it mounted has been a challange as the space on the door edge is not sufficient to mount the screws and avoid hitting the screen.

Sturdy, easy to install, good looking, convenient, makes it so much easier (and safer) to close the screen door now. This should be a standard factory installed item. Only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that I feel that it's a little too close to the screen, and that you can hit the screen with the back of your hand when grabbing the cross bar, which could eventually ding, scratch, or stretch the screen material in this area slightly. I added a 1/4 spacer between the ends of the cross bar and the door to space the cross bar out another 1/4 away from the door, and that works for us. Seems everyone else finds it ok as is.

The bar is perfect. Drilling holes in the bar and door could be difficult if you don't have the right tools. I was able to drill the holes in the door, but could not drill the holes in the bar to adjust its width. I gave up and stuffed stiff paper in the ends of the bar to achieve the correct width. This not only works well, but I can adjust the width in the future, if I need to.

The ability to close the screen door even with the outer door attached, without having to go down the steps is fantastic. Convenient handle if needed doing down the steps (or that occasional oops mis-step. Very sturdy and if handy, not too difficult to install. Wife says it's her favorite add-on to the RV. Best $10 add-on you can buy!

After upgrading our Class C to a newer model, we added this cross bar to the screen door. What a difference this low cost upgrade makes! It was easy to install with a power drill and much better than the last one we installed about 2004.

I just installed on our last trip and it works great,used the provided template and a little duct tape to line up with and a small level.You will need a 1/8 drill and a small center punch to help centering the hole.It adds some strength to the door along with a good hand hold to operate.

The cross bar installed easily. This was the best purchase we made for our new camper trailer. The door opens and closes more easily now and even the grandchildren have no trouble closing the door now. We love it. We have one on the main door and also on the bathroom door. The bathroom door cross bar does double duty. It makes the door easier to shut and also serves as a towel hanger.

this bar is a big improvement to our screen door, by making it a lot easier to pull the door shut, your hands are no way close to the door frame, and you can pull screen shut from the latch side or the hinge side. Being adjustable for mounting is a big plus, and it seems to be very sturdy. It is a great addon to our RV and highly recommend it

Bought one for ourselves put it in the middle of the screen door works great for us, then we noticed the grandchildren not able to reach this bar, yup bought a second bar put this bar lower below the open works great for the children. Then we noticed we where using both, lower one going up the stairs, higher one going down do not be cheap for this price buy two. Hell of a product.

This is one of the best items we've purchased for the trailer. It sounds trivial but let me say it is a very big plus. Saves the screen on the door. (Kids) When the door is caught in the wind, it's easy to grab the bar and not try to grab the small sliding door latch. The bar is strong. I absolutely Love this bar. I think it is a must have, especially if you have kids, grandkids using the door.

This cross bar is so simple to install, all you need is a drill and a phillips screwdriver and its a done deal. Installed mine on a 2011 Allegro Motorhome in less than 10 minutes and it works well when the screen door is attached to the entrance door too. Closes both the screen and entrance door without any problem. The coach looks like it came from the factory with the bar attached. Looks and works great.

Due to my short stature, I am often challenged when it comes to RVs! This has made it sooo much easier to close the door when I have climbed up into our motorhome. I was always breaking nails trying to grab the thin crack where the screen fits in the door since the handle was way out of reach. I just want to buy one for all my short RVing friends. It also allows me to hold on to the door if a gust of wind comes along.

Before, each time you would open and shut the slide to get to the handle, it would more often than not fall out of its track onto the floor. Now you can leave that part in one place most of the time while you grab this handle instead.

These stiffened up the screen and is now much easier to close. We also added a second one close to the top to use as a towel drying rack. Very easy to install

This is the most useful item we have added to the RV. Makes opening and closing the screen door super easy. I would recommend this item to everyone. My wife just loves it and it saves the screen from being pushed out, allows you to close the door with one hand, and so much more.

This handle makes a world of difference. I thought that it was going to last at least one trip, but with as much as the door is used. The handle is still doing it job. With the smooth finish glides easy and easy to install!

Easy to install handle, simply drill four pilot holes in the frame. Nice and sturdy, this handle makes controlling the screen door much easier in windy condions.

It's such a peace of mind to only push the cross bar instead of having to keep using the plastic slide to open the door. My friends come over and more than once have pushed the plastic slide right out of it's track. Now I don't have to worry.

The screen Door is now stiffer, I can close the screen by grabbing the bar, hang wet towels to dry. This is the cheepest thing I have done to the motorhome and the most usfull of all the improvements. Bravo, wonderfull, tell all your friends. Great product, easy to install and usefull, enough said.

This works great to pull my screen door shut as it fits snug against the foam weatherstrip to latch. I use one of those screen door openers that doesn't require you to slide the plastic deal (see item 35177). Before I was always popping that plastic slide deal out getting my door shut and it was irritating. It works great now! Installation is straight forward and this is a solid piece. Absolutely a bargain item for as good as it is.

Why would anyone give this less than 5 stars??? It is super simple to install (measure everything and check clearances TWICE). Now my boys have something other than the screen itself to push the door open with!! Worth it's weight in GOLD.

The screen door is much easier to close with the cross bar because you have the full width of the door to grab the handle. The original small latch at the end of the door is not enough. Installation was slow and tedious, but worth the effort.

Gives your screen door that something extra to grab to when closing it or just controlling it while entering or exiting your coach. Wife and kids love it. I like the idea other folks have a handle to grab vice accidently messing up my screen or letting the door slam open or shut.

This was easy to install and very practical. We installed ours a little higher up on the door to use as a towel bar on the door when we want to block the sunlight coming in through the door window. I love an item that has multiple uses in a small RV.
