The screen door opener is an answer to a problem in exiting the motor home thru the screen door. The access thru the slide was annoying, and now is somewhat elimanated. The installation required some "engineering", but was surmountable.

I installed this opener hoping that we could forget about sliding the opening every time we wanted to leave our trailer. It works very well and we are completely satisfied with our purchase. I don't understand why these openers don't come as standard equipment.

Easy to install drill hole put grommet in hole slide rod through grommet. Takes less than twenty minutes. some guys had problems with it, mine works perfect. Well wroth five bucks.

After installing the rod. It moved side to side that would miss connection correctly with the handle on the screen door. It never seemed to work as expected. When covering the door steps with the floor board panel snapped ours in two.
