Purchased product in order to have something to grab hold of when closing the door other than the slide in the door. Product is sturdy and easy to install but sits very close to the door which makes it difficult to get a hold of when closing the door; if it sat even an inch away from the screen it would be easier to grab. Does add stability to the door and given time
may get used to it. Looks great and made of good material.

FIT JUST FINE WITH THE SLIDING BAR,S FOR EXACT FIT ,STRENGTHENS YOUR SCREEN DOOR , YOU MIGHT WANT TO USE ASHORTER SCREW AND A BIT BIGGER IN DIAMETER ,( I USED STAINLESS STEEL ) ALSO INSTAL A BIT OF SILICON INTO THE
HOLES TO PREVENT ANY WATER GOING INTO THE SCREEN DOOR FRAME
, THIS PUSH BAR SAVES IN TWO WAYS , STRENGTHENS THE DOOR ,AND SAVES MR FIX IT REPAIRING THE SCREENS , I ALSO INSTALLED THE SCREEN DOOR GRILL ON THE LOWER PART OF THE DOOR , REAL
SOLID DOOR NOW , AND LOOKS REAL GOOD TO , THIS COMBO WILL
SAVE A LOT OF HEADACHES

Looked like a good idea, but wouldn't fit. my door frame was to narrow to let me move the bracket close enought to center of the door frame. When you opened the door it caught on the edge of the bracket .

Just bought a new rigg and it does not have ANY type of push bar on it. I thought that this would work on my rigg door, but the trim on the door does not allow this option. I truly do wish it would have worked, I'm so afraid about excessive pressure on the screen door.
