Flojet's unique Variable Speed Drive system needs no pressure switch. Its microprocessor provides precise speed control to match the system demand. As more water is needed, the motor drives the pump for more flow. As the demand lessens, the motor slows to a super-quiet speed, yet maintains a steady pressure. The result is an unbelievably home-like flow. This smooth performance from no flow to maximum flow is sensor controlled, without any cycling - so an accumulator tank is not needed. The system is free of pulsation, water hammer and temperature swings. Amp draw reduces as flow reduces to conserve energy, ranging from less than 1 amp to a max.of 10 amps. Self priming up to 10'. Automatically adjusts to 12V or 24V input. Thermal overload protection with auto restart. USA.

Bought this pump to replace an identical pump that was 11 years old. Very easy quick connect with my existing plumbing since it was an identical pump. Not too loud. Excellent pressure and volume whether at the sink faucets, taking a shower or flushing the toilet.

Even though this H2O pump is the most $$ in the inventory of choices, I opted to purchase this item because of its highest gpm rating and other important features not found in other pumps. I felt I couldn't give this product a 5 rating because the instructions (sealed inside the carton), state one needs to now go to Radio Shack and purchase an additional (cheap) item to connect w/the electrical supply of the RV. I felt this was an unexpected inconvenience and an item that the manufacturer could have easily supplied with the pump, especially given the $$ of the product.

This pump replaces the same make and model I had before. The old one failed after years and years of faithful service. It pumps as if you are connected to campground water supply. Great for shower or washing. In my coach you can hear it pump on high demand use if you listen but not a bother to me. It has variable speed so with little water use you can hardly tell it is pumping. I'd buy it again next time.
