I'm still a newbie to RVing. Only had my rv for about 2 weeks now. First time it came to dumping it was a breeze. But when I went to wash out the hose I made the mistake of shooting water rapidly into the open end. I got water splashed back! At least I hope it was water. I saw this and knew it would surely come in handy. Went camping this past weekend and used this nifty cap to clean the hose without any splash back at all. Works perfect if you ask me.
