Sewer Solution works great

I used the sewer solution recently on a trip. It was the first time I had used it. It did a great job without all of the mess hassle of the regular sewer hoses. Took up less space, easier to hook up and take down. I also used the 10' extension which was easy to assemble and take loose. I would highly recommend these products.

Sewer Solution

Purchased the sewer solution online after reading the reveiws and watching the videos. My mother is staying in our trailer while her house is being renovated. The trailer is unfortunately located too far from the septic outlet to be drainded without breaking it down and towing around the house. We needed something that could empty into a
sewer pipe I extended through an exterior wall of the house. The sewer solution fit the bill to perfection. It performed exactly as promised. Along with our purchase we ordered an extra ten foot hose, to give us twenty feet, and the 5 inch clear plastic pipe extension.
As in the video, our sewer pipe is about the same height as our dump valve. The sewer solution had no problem emptying the tanks and pumping uphill. Given the height of our sewer outlet, the entire hose was still full of water upon completion, but it was clear water, and no issue draining it down the driveway. After reading a couple of negative
reveiws on this product we chose to give a try anyway, and boy am I glad we did. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to escape the dreaded STINKY SLINKY. This product was fast, clean, and effortless. Thank you Sewer Solution!

My use of Sewer Solutions

I have been full timing for 4 years with the Stinky Slinky and for the past month I have been using the Sewer Solution. I have an 09 Allegro Bus which has a black tank flush, so I have 4 hoses with quick connects on two Y-splits with a back flow inhibitor on the hoses that feed the sewer solution and the black water flush with shut off valves nearest the rig to control flow rate. The other Y feeds the freshwater and the back flow Y. I use a
10 clear and 3 bayonet with a 45 degree clear to attach the SS so it is on the outside of the wet bay. The 10 clear allows me to see the flow rate. I have found that once the black water appears empty, I shut the value of 30 seconds, let the flush run, and reopen again and a lot more black water comes out. I repeat this several times until the blackwater is mostly clear. (If a vacuum occurs I open the gray a little.) Then open the
gray and leave it open. I put a cup of Pine Sol in the toilet and flush a couple times. The result is very little odor from the black tank until it almost is full. When it is time to pack up I flush the SS for a couple of mins shut it off and pull the rubber out of the dump line and rinse it off with a gentle stream into the dump hole. Put the 10 still attached to SS in
a large garbage bag and store it. For cold weather use I'm thinking of using a heat tape...

I recently had the chance to use the sewer solution this passed weekend, I cannot say
enough about how easy it was to use, no longer having to drag out my old sewer
connections. I highly recommend this product.

As all the reviewers have said, it works as advertised. As some reviewers have indicated, the plastic unit that
attaches to the RV drain outlet is not as sturdy as it could be. However, I just leave this piece installed and I
purchased a cap to cover the metalic piece that connects to the drain hose. That prevents risk of damage
from frequent installation and removal. Once a year I remove this piece, clean the plastic, and re-lube the
rubber seal. I also have my water system set up so that the connection to this plastic unit can remain
connected at all times with the cut-off valve off except when actually draining the tanks.
I turn on the water source with the nozzle pointed at the outlet before opening the black-water valve and I
leave that on while the black-water tank empties and while I back-flush the black-water (separate connection
for back-flush). By doing this, we can use home toilet paper with no problems.
After draining the gray-water, I use the swivel on the water inlet to spray clean water back into the drain
lines. Then I aim it back at the drain hose and run clean water through that before closing all valves and
disconnecting the system.
One note: If you close both the black-water and gray-water valves while the water connection is turned on,
the water will not drain well. There's no way for air to fill the cavity, so the water stays there held by air
pressure from outside.
And yes, it will push drain products up hill and it will push them long distances over relatively flat surfaces.
We've been using this for almost three years during which we've traveled about 35,000 miles, and we really
do like this system.

I was unsure about buying but decided to give it a try after reading some reviews. I have been using it for 2 seasons now and love it. I had a small problem with the connector and called the company and they sent me a new part in 3 days. Customer service was
outstanding. This system is nicely engineered and works perfectly. When you buy definetly buy the 10' extension. I store the whole system in a small plastic box. Bye, bye big clumsy hoses.

This is a terrific product. We used it over a 3 month trip after our purchase. Things about Sewer Solution that I particular like are:
1. The ability to add extensions as needed. (I would recommend getting two add-ons
and have increased flexibility when parking).
2. Allows continuous drain of grey water. (The system can self flush after draining black
water.)
3. Easier to store than standard sewer hoses.
(One needs to keep as a back up the standard hose in case hose water might be
available though we have not run into that situation.)

Works well even uphill

This item works great as we have it attached to 8 ten foot lengths of 1 pipe with an uphill rise of about two feet. All waste gets thoroughly macerated and pushed up the pipe.I do see a potential weak spot with the hose connection, but others have said how to fix it. I would recommend this product if you need to dump at home at times. At dump
stations I will still use the standard hose.

I have been an RV camper for over 30 years. I have been using this device for over a
year and it works for my situation. Every now and then I need to empty my black tank at
my house. My 5th wheel is up front and my house sewer drain is over 70 feet away and
up about 2 feet. I use 60 feet of 1 inch water fountain hose. It pumps the black water the distance with out a problem. Having a clear connector helps
see when you are finished. I will agree with some comments that the water hose
connector is a little flimsy. Just have to be careful with all plastic parts. I like the idea of
using 1 pvc. Since my run is not straight, that would not work for me. I recommend this
product.

Great concept, underengineered

Product functions as advertised, but plastic quick disconnect and backflow preventer parts are poorly done and
likely to fail with the hose loads at that point. Quick disconnect is very difficult to get seated properly. I am concerned with long term reliability, product needs to be
more sturdy. Overall concept is great, the flush operation is clean.
