I had read the reviews before I purchased this and thought all my tank emptying woes would be over. This thing does what it says but it has same drawbacks which make it a ok for the money.
Pros: It does what it says it does. It pumps uphill if you need to- a big plus.
Cons: The jet that forces water back into the holding tank doesn't have as much power as some of the other tank cleaning devices on the market. In fact, I still use the old backflush system I have with the sewer solution attached to it. The main problem I had is it took too long to drain when I was doing a good cleaning on the tank. When I used a cleaning wand through the toilet to clean the tank, it would take 5-10 minutes to drain because the hose was too small. The water went in faster than it could go out- even with the jet forcing water though the hose. I had to clean the tank multiple times until there was no waste coming out. It took me almost 40 minutes to get everything out. Next time I'll hook up the big hose for the final cleaning.

I just love this as it makes it so easy to dump and clean. I have always had trouble with the sensers in the tank not coming clean. I can now dump and get everlything clean in about 8 to 10 Minutes. This is great. It stores so easy and takes up less room.

I bought one of these systems, but can't connect it to my coach. The device fits so close the dump valves are blocked when it's connected. Where can I purchase a 3 or 4 inch long extension that will allow me to use this device? I think the extensions should be offered for sale on the same page as the device as an available and sometimes necessary option.

Best money I've spent on the RV! I had to reverse the valve to make it fit my sewer connection. How to do so is in the instructions and it was simple to do. I added a 10' length of PVC pipe to reach the sewer clean-out in my yard. This added piece of pipe is a slip fit connection with the pieces that come with the kit. I hooked it to my RV drain, connected the garden hose, and relaxed while the black tank drained. Spin the valve, and the water jet rinses the black tank. The clear fittings let you see when the water is running clean. As I said, best money I've spent. I love this thing!

After spending lots of money on other sewer items, like 3" hoses adapters, flush values, etc. and spending up to an hour if not more each time I had to dump tanks and back flush to clean them out, I bought this little item and used it for the first time this weekend. Why didn't I buy it before? It is simple to use and cuts the time to empty and clean my tanks more than a half. Matter of fact, it took about 12 minutes to dump and clean my tank. The jet breaks up the waste and tissue paper and with a simple flip it shoots the water to flush out the tanks. Matter of fact the 2 other familes we were camping with used my sewer solution and they are going to buy one. For the money it is the best solution. You do not need to buy the expensive pumps etc. This does it all and most importantly it keeps me clean and frees up my time to relax just a little bit longer before we have to pack up and leave. I recommend buying at least 2 more sections of hose for longer dumps. I bought 2 more sections as well in addition to the hose provided with the kit. Which was good because we needed it. I may buy one more section to be safe. I want to thank Pat at the Winchester VA Camping world, who showed me this product. She was very helpful and took time to help me research this solution. I do a lot of business at this store, because of the customer service. Because of Pat, my family will be long camping world customers. Guess what, the time you took to read this post, you tanks would be empty by now. Go get one and have a new enjoyment of camping.

we were kind of skeptical about buying the sewer solution product because we werent sure how well it would work. we have a sewer cleanout about 30' away and 2' uphil, and this system worked great! the backflushing option works very well too. i would recommend this system to anyone who cant afford a more expensive mascerator pump.

The unit itself works very well, but about half of the camp grounds have the sewer connections in back of the camping site and a 10 foot hose is not going to reach the drain.    If your motor home is 30 feet or more and if your drain is in the middle of your rig,  (do the math) you will need to buy a longer hose.  The Sewer Solution should come with a standard 20 foot hose.  If your drain has a "Y" connection, your drain handles will be in the way.  They provide directions in turning your Y drain down.   A  low Class C will have the drain too close to the road if left down.   I used an old sewer rinse device to extend my drain connection out   6 inches  to avoid the drain handles.    Otherwise you would have to adjust the direction of the Y drain each time you use this product.   Be prepared to spend extra money to set it up.

I used the sewer solution on my 3,000 mile trip and it worked great at all of the RV parks I stayed at. The only problem I encountered was at 1 park I needed to have 2 feet more hose to reach the parks sewer. I carry at least 20 feet of extra hose to cover this problem.

We have been using this system for about 4 years now, and would never go back to a conventional 3-inch sewer hose. The Sewer Solution is much cleaner and more compact than a conventional hose. I made an extension for it from 1-inch PVC pipe, and can now dump at home. Get one!

I have enjoyed the watchers almost as much as I have the ease and cleanliness of this product! We have used it since I saw my first one and I would recommend it to all. Except maybe Robin Williams.

We're new to RV'ing and I didn't really want to deal with the slinky. I tried Sewer Solution (added 3 extra 10 foot lengths). It worked great - no mess - no smell - emptied the black tank without any problems into the cleanout on the side of my home. The rise was about 2 1/ 2 feet - and it just worked.
