I bought this screen to replace the original one after our German Shepherd tried to nose his way under it several years ago and split the plastic. It removes the water off of the screen as it retracts and the installation was very easy. The only "bad" thing I have to say about it is the way the screen latches. The leading edge of screen has a slight lip that drops into a groove on the edge of the frame. A slight bump while in the shower will release the screen and it will retract. I'd like to see the manufacturer re-work this to make it more secure. I plan on making some modifications to keep it from opening unexpectedly.
