Exactly as described, would be even better with a needle valve turn-off.

This is one of those procrastination projects where I worried about doing it for several hours as I drove down the road, and then it was only 20 minutes when I actually opened the package, got out my wrenches and actually started to do it. As easy (almost) as changing the tank on my gas BBQ at home.
I bought a tank gas gauge at Camping World, which really helps when switching tanks or removing everything for travel, as the gauge has a hand-tighten plastic ring, so no wrench is needed.
Then I got to thinking, if the device had a needle valve that I could close-off, I wouldn't need to remove the hose assembly everytime we broke camp and headed down the road, but a trip to two or three hardware stores confirmed that what I needed, a needle valve with both a male and female with compression threads, doesn't exist. All kinds of
them with double male threads, but none with female, and no adapters were available.
If I could have found that device, I could simply have turned-off the hose with the needle valve, turned off the 20 lb. tank and removed the hand-tighten gas valve assembly, and stored the hose next to my built-in tank, avoiding having to get out two wrenches to do the job. And, when I arrive at my next long-term destination, I wouldn't have to go
through the procedure again, including checking for leaks.

A must have for full timers. The included hoses add to the value while not increasing,
much, the cost of the T if purchase alone. The hoses purchased separately cost as
much as the T alone.

I have contacted Brad Austin at the factory. He has given me some instructions on how to adapt the Stay A While Tee to the custom set up in my Expedition. This should do the trick. He was very responsive and actually marked up a photo of my setup to help me with what needed to be done. I will keep the 4 star rating since it did require some
customization.

Purchased this kit for our 2005 Fleetwood Expedition motorhome. We do a lot of dry camping and ran out of propane once when it was 24 degrees in Maine. Not a good thing. Got under the RV yesterday to prepare for the install and found that the fittings on the Stay-Awhile are too big for
the fittings on my rig. I will be contacting the manufacturer but do not expect that there is anything that they can do. Will send back for a refund.
