This ladder is only good for easy stowing. As long as you never get on it it is fine.

I have carried one of these for over 4-years. I normally carry in crosswise in my 5th wheel basement in a 6 thin-wall PVC sewer pipe. At my last stop, it finally bit the dust and would not fold. I donated it to the campsite and am anxious to purchase another in New Mexico.

If you can find a vinyl square fence post 8 feet high, the ladder will slip right in, collapsed of course.
