Description

Whenever electrical power falls below 104 volts or rises above 132 volts, the EMS automatically shuts down power to the RV.

Once the electrical power rises above 104-volts, or below the 132-volt level, the time delay indicator flashes for the preset time and then automatically restores power to the RV. Features 5-mode surge protection, reverse polarity protection, open neutral/open ground protection and AC frequency protection.Built-in display: Scrolls continuously through all of the power source information: voltage, current, frequency, error codes, and previous errors. Each reading is displayed for 2 seconds. Modular design for easy repair, thus eliminating removal of unit.

Saw the voltage protection device in a seminar at the Louisville Good Sam Rally this year (2012). Since I had some problems in the past with low voltage I realized that the risk ,no matter how small was just not worth taking a chance. I chose the unit from Progressive Industries due to more detailed infromation from its display and it had a much better warrenty than other brands.My unit is the hardwired and install was straight foward and no problem . Now I just plug in knowing that no current flows into my class A coach till unit analyzes connection and it checks OK.

Great product. I had the base model of the Progressive Surge Protector series that didn't have voltage protection or delay. I realized that I was becoming complacent in not unplugging and plugging protector alone before checking polarity, ground, etc. which was defeating those protection functions. With this model, it checks those functions and many more before connecting power to the coach and it constantly checks these safety functions while plugged in. The design also makes it easy to replace the sacrificial Metal Oxide Varistors (MOVs) in the event of protecting the coach's electrical system from a lighting strike. The only trouble I encounter with instillation instillation was the small space allowed for the current coils made it difficult to make the connections.
