Rugged Swagman Bike Racks are easy loading and require no straps.
RVs generate exponentially more stress on bike racks than do cars and trucks. These Swagman Bike Racks are built and tested for use on the rear of RVs.

Padded V-shaped gripper cradles hold bikes securely in place. Locking knob secures bikes with just a twist. Ample spacing between cradles makes loading bikes easy. Towing models allow tight turns and fit over any Class III drawbar. Standard models fit any Class III 2" hitch receiver. Cold-rolled steel with corrosion-resistant powder coat finish.

  • Transports up to 4 bikes.

  • Flexible top plate to accomodate different bike sizes

  • Soft Kraton cushions help protect your bike and give additional gripping power.

  • Recommended for the back of RVs or motorhomes

    Sturdy, but not easily removable

This rack was easy to assemble and appears very solid. I had to apply a LOT of counter-pressure with my socket wrenches to tighten the locknuts. Once assembled, it doesn't fit on the vehicle the way my old Swagman rack did. With my old one, there was a removable 5/8 hitch pin with a lock on the end to prevent theft. With this one, the hitch pin is actually a bolt and the rack piece that slides into the receiver is threaded on one side, meaning you have to use a socket wrench to install or remove the bolt. That makes it harder to remove the rack when you arrive at the campground. When you have a piece of metal protruding two feet from your rig at eye level for a 10 year old, it's a bit of a safety hazard. I end up putting a bucket over the top of the rack to protect heads while we're parked. It's important to note that if someone had the time and a socket wrench, they could steal the whole rack and anything on it, since there's no locking mechanism for the rack. For the rack itself, I swear that Swagman thinks we're all using 1970's 10 speed bikes based on the space given for each bike. With 4 mountain bikes, you have to be very creative in trying to fit the bikes on without losing your sanity. The one time that I got them to fit perfectly, I took a picture of it, and now I refer to the picture whenever I'm having trouble. All that being said, it's a decent rack and Camping World sold it for about $100 less than my local sporting goods store.

Hey shopper, this seems to be a well built rack which I will test out this week with my older style 10 speed road bike. However be aware that it will not hold the popular teens bikes. The thick tube sloped bar that most kids have today like the mongoose, or if they have the shock absorber built into the frame, forget it. It won't hold those bikes. I spent the money on the 4 bike rack and only have 2 bikes that will fit it. You live and learn. Hope this helps.
