Minimize sway caused by passing trucks and sudden wind gusts.

Double friction disc brake principle provides constant sway abatement. Attaches with easy socket and spring connectors; removes for easy storage. Zinc-plated slide bar for smooth, consistent action.

Note: Not for use on trailers with surge brakes. Trailers over 25 feet may requires two sway controls.

The E-Z Sway Control unit we purchased has been a blessing. No matter how we loaded our trailer, we had trouble with excessive sway from wind, and sudden changes in steering. This caused excessive wear on the trailer tires and made long trips exhausting. This unit, which uses an adjustable friction plate, eliminates 95% of the sway and what is left is nothing of any consequence. Welding is required to mount the small ball hitch to the hitch tongue, but not a big deal. I had my mechanic do this for me. I also had to move the emergency brake switch from the side of my trailer frame to the underside. The installation is really quite easy. The result, as I said, have been amazing. We now spend more time with our camper enjoying ourselves. For the price, this is a bargain by any standard.

Sway Control - Worth the Price

I installed this product on a 28' travel trailer. When I was towing the trailer home from the dealer, I noticed considerable sway when a vehicle passed or when I encountered a gust of wind. I installed sway controls on both sides of the camper. The instructions were easy to follow, and installation took me about 20 minutes for each side (after I bought the correct size drill bit). The difference in stability was amazing. While there still is some movement while towing on the Interstate, it is not nearly as noticeable or prolonged as it was previously. I feel that the difference in stability is well worth the price.
