Sway Control, NOT an option to miss

Our first 30' travel trailer was uncomtrolable in the first few miles. Returned to the dealer and he asked, where is the sway control? Don't miss the boat here. Sway control is NOT optional. This is our 2nd control unit, left the original out to rust. The new unit is a breeze. Did not need the included brackets and bolts and it works and ADJUSTS very easily. I can pull our unit and trucks passing do not affect us.

Pretty simple stuff. Hardest part is drilling your trailer frame. Be sure to start with a couple smaller bits and work your way up to the proper size. I used a couple of C clamps to hold the bracket to the frame while I leveled the bracket off and marked the holes. I also coated the bolts with some silicone calk to eliminate moisture getting into the freshly drilled holes. My hitch can accommodate the extra ball needed. If your hitch can't you'll need to buy additional bracket. If one control doesn't stop your sway, you'll need to buy one for the left side as well.
