An Excellent Product

After using numerous chemicals with less than desirable results, I asked a friend what they used. It was this item and they said it worked!! I tried it as was very satisfied. I bought something else about a year ago and had major problems with the first usage. I went back to the Aqua-Kem Dri and have not used any other product since and have had no further problems.

Works excellent

I have used numerous other brands, this seems to work great, especially in very hot climate. Have also used the liquid Aqua Kem, both seem to be about the same in effectiveness (excellent) while the Dri is a little cheaper. I never have had to use two packets, and often dry camp for up to a week at a time with no problems.

Noxious oder

Aqua-Kem Dri and Aqua-Kem Liquid are approximately equally effective. I have used and still use a variety of holding tank products in my black- and gray-water tanks and hope to find one that lives up to the manufacture's hyperbole. I carry a small supply (no more than six packets) of the the dry product as back up in case I run out of everything else. I also carry six one-dose size bottles of the liquid plus an econonical large size bottle to refill the one-dose bottles. If dumping will not be possible for four or more days, I use one of the two mentioned Theford products. They do the best job of any product I have used in avoiding oder and do a better job of keeping the tank level sensors clean and functional than any other product. Even though these two dark blue products work well, I suspect they may not be as friendly to sewage systems as competing enzyme products. Furthermore, I find the Aqua-Kem Dri particularly noxious when opening and emptying one packet each into the bathroom sink and toilet. Although the other products I generally use are based on enzymes and microorganisms, it is necessary to rinse or double rinse the tanks after using the Thetford products because the blue stuff seems to kill or render ineffective the other products. If I did not react so adversely while dispensing the Aqua-Kem powder, and somewhat adversely to the liquid, both would earn five stars.
