I purchased this hose when my port dump became inoperable and was unable to get it repaired on the road. I bought two of these to connect and run under by coach to the starboard dump. The hose is the highest quality hose I have ever seen. I liked the idea of a tight connection to avoid dumping black water on the ground at the connection which often happens with the red screw type connectors. However, this connection does not seal properly. That's the bad news, the good news, I only needed one hose to reach the distance. Buy the hose for the quality of the hose not for the connection.
