For less than the cost of one RV or truck tire, the TireMinder TPMS saves gas, time, money – and potentially, lives!
Wireless tire pressure monitor system continuously monitors tire pressure and temperatures, providing both visual and audible blow-out warnings. Transmitters screw onto the tires’ valve stems and send readings to the digital monitor inside the RV or truck, allowing drivers to easily monitor up to 22 wheels. The user-programmable system signals and sounds alarms for tire pressure loss or if tire temperature exceeds 167°F/75°C.
Features:
For motorhomes, 5th wheels and trailers
User programmable visual and audible pressure loss warning levels
Temperature alarm if tire temperature rises above 167°F/75°C
PSI range 0-145
Accurate to within 2.7%
Replaceable long-life CR 1362 lithium batteries
Includes receiver monitor with heavy-duty multi-angle mounting bracket, 4 pressure/temperature transmitters, 4 extra batteries, 12/24 volt DC charger, anti-theft locks and screwdriver for lock installation

Bought this unit from Camping World at the beginning of May, after seeing a competing system at our local Samboree here in SoCal. The trial run was out to the river (Parker, AZ), on my 28ft Winnabago coach, and towing a Jeep Wrangler; the system performed flawlessly. This system is worth the extra money over the competition.
My wife and I bought this to help monitor the tires on our drivable RV. We also purchased this to help monitor the tires on the Car Dolly that we will be purchasing to pull our VW Sports Wagon when we travel this year. I did allot of research and this unit was the best for
customer satisfaction and the bang for the dollar.
So far works as advertised. Appears to be a significant difference between the actual tire
pressure and what the monitor states. I use a digital pressure gauge and checked with 2
other dial gauges and had the same readings. All 4 tires set at exactly 80 psi cold and
Tire Monitor indicated a range of 74 - 77 psi per tire. I had to adjust my alarm level down
to compensate. I also rechecked after driving 100 miles and had the same readings.
Bottom line is if there is a problem I will know about it, that's what I wanted.
I installed the Tire Minder on my Mountaineer 29' Travel
Trailer and it has been working just fine so far. The first trip I got a lost sensor message on the left rear tire of my
trailer; but after about an hour it came back and gave the right pressure. It seems to be a good system to me.
This TPMS system is good for our 5th wheel. It is small, and the transmitter batteries are user replaceable, and the factory has a free battery exchange program until 2016 (or 2018, I cant remember). The only reason I didn't rate this as 5 stars is it seems the transmitters are not up to my calibration standards. If I thread a transmitter on and get a pressure reading of 63 psi, I can uremove (unthread), then reinstall and get a pressure of, say, 67 psi. That is within the manufacturers tolerance...just not mine...I would expect 1 or 2 psi difference at most. The unit does however warn of leaking and or
blowout conditions and will display temp as well, and that suits our needs.
After reading some other reviews I bought the hard wired signal booster and installed that before first use, so I cannot comment on signal strength w/out the booster, but WITH the booster I have had ZERO signal issues between our 33 ft 5th wheel and crew cab 1 ton
tow vehicle.
It was very easy to install and set up. I probably had less then an hour involved. The
alarm did go off once when a battery needed to be reset. I had peace of mind traveling
during triple digit ambient tempratures.
Just returned from the first trip using this system and was glad to have it.
I did and still do have some issues with a couple of the sensors, but have had great
response from Tire Minder Customer Service to get one of them replaced (another one
is acting up so i will need to contact them again) while in Colorado.
It does not stay charged for the 30 days as advertised. More like 7 days but was not a
real big deal.Mounted it right by my cup holder so it was easy to see and use while driving (and out of the way).Good buy for piece of mind!
I bought this after we had a blowout last summer on our 5th wheel and ruined the rim.
System installed very easy and directions were very good. I did have one issue with a
sensor registering higher than the PSI reading on a hard guage, but after several times removing the sensor and or battery, the sensor started reading correctly. I also have a sensor that gives a false temp reading as well but I am not too concerned with this. Make sure you set the warning several PSI below what you plan on running as the fluctuation of readings is around 1-2 PSI. I bought the system to let me know when I had a tire going down or had a blowout and so far this system has worked very well.
Can you set different pressure settings for different sensors? For example can the settings for the tow vehicle be set differently than the trailer?

Do the monitors need to be removed to adjust the tire pressure?

Is there a flow through capability, or do the monitors need to be removed to add or remove air from the tires?
by AnonymousMay 17, 2013
The sensors with this kit will need to be removed for adding air. The flow-through version of this kit is item 67170.

This is just a 4 tire system, what is the cost of a 6 tire system?

by AnonymousDecember 12, 2012
This system will monitor up to 22 tires, just add the extra sensors (set of 2, item 52522).

Are there settings for multiple pressures?
1 answer(s)
I have tires that require different pressures between the tow vehicle, trailer and toad. Does this unit respond to each vehicle's pressures or do you have to set it for one pressure. Mine range from 32 PSI in the toad to 125 in the trailer and 120 and 95 on the tow vehicle.
by AnonymousDecember 12, 2012
This system gives you the option to program each individual sensor, accomodating for the difference between the tow vehicle and trailer(s).
