    Poor Quality - September 24, 2008

I purchased this awning in April 2008, and on the second use in September 2008, the awning rail buckled under light rain. The awning was pitched with the support poles at their lowest height, and Dometic simply indicated that the awning is not warranted against rain damage. So, this means that if the awning isn't warranted against rain damage when pitched at the greatest angle (the design allows), then the awning basically can't be used during a rain shower. This pretty much defeats the purpose of having an awning in the first place. I am very dissatisfied that a design integrity flaw is passed off as a user error.

Very Nice Awning - Easy set up - May 11, 2008

We purchased this awning to replace the very difficult awning that came with our Mustang Palamino tent camper. WOW! We had read the reviews, and had hoped that our experience would be as positive. It was and more! Our first time setting it up for real camping was great. It took us no more than 5 to 10 minutes. We have a tall tent camper, so the poles were just the right height. The horizontal support poles clicked into their supports, and we finished setting up the camper, then tightened them. It was a breeze. Thanks for having such a great product. Even though we are not very mechanical people, we were able to install the product on our camper without problems.
