Operates automatically when cabin temperature rises. High-powered, 10-blade, 12" dia. Fan creates more air flow in your RV than any other leading fan-powered unit. Fits directly over your existing roof vent without vent removal. Three-speed 12V fan motor has both intake and exhaust functions and is mounted on roof for quiet operation. Control console mounts to interior vent trim ring. White high density polyethylene with UV inhibitors. USA.

I have a permanent vent fan in my Fleetwood Prowler 5er. The motor went bad and I ordered the exact replacement fan in that you can't buy just the motor. The idea was to cannibalize the new kit so I wouldn't have to do MAJOR surgery to the rv to replace a bad motor. The new motor lasted about three months. Grrrrrrrrrr So's I found THIS. It took me two hours to install and was one of the nicest custom install projects I have ever had the pleasure to participate in! The manufacturer thought of everything! I did read the PDF instruction manual prior to the delivery so I had the jump on it when it arrived! Additionally the good folk at Maxx have replacement fans so when it dies (and it eventually will) I just have to buy a new one!

The TurboMaxx Fan is a great add-on to any Camper or Motorhome. This was my second install and the first with the new hinged design. Installation is straight forward and the instructions are well written. My only dislike on this model vs the older version is the Knobs. The older version you had a visual indicater where it was set at. On the New version their is not a pointer as to where the Thermostat or the fan speed is set at.

Is this a bolt to the roof or will it just connect to the existing vent system, like the normal covers?
