Fairly good fan needs some modern updates

Fan is quiet and adequate. The control box fan knob reminds me of something you would have seen on a 70s sedan. It would be nice if this was a bit more modern looking.

great product - poor warehouse service

I'm sure this second vent fan for my camper will work as good as the first one. Glad I opened the box to check contents before I went to the barn to install it. It was missing two-thirds of the screws, bolts and nuts, and it wasn't the fault of TurboMaxx. So it was quicker today to go to ace hardware and get what I needed than to call and wait days for a delivery. Installation is straight forward with a well-written and descriptive installation manual. Just be sure you are comfortable with climbing the ladder to get on roof to install. The fan control has three set speeds, where the older model had a continuously variable speed control. I like the variable control better.

WOW!!! One of the best purchases I have ever made for my coach. Had the old stock fan with standard roof vent cover prior to my installing this unit. Being in Arizona, it always got warm sitting around the middle of the coach as we traveled. After I installed this unit we took a trip, and then dry camped. The trip was a lot cooler for the kids because you can leave the vent open while you drive and it draws the dash A/C back into the coach. The bi-directional three speed fan worked fantastic and I pretty much ran in for six days in a row. This thing was easy to install as long as you have the tools, and looks like it came from the factory. What a buy...I am going to get a second one for the other vent in my coach.

Great Fan

I purchased this fan cause the original one was very small and loud. It is very easy to hook up and is actually a little quieter than the small fan that came with the RV. The install was very easy. You cut the wires going to the small fan and hook them into this one, and they are all color coded. That's all. Just about anyone can do it themselves. I installed it in the bathroom and it works exteremely well. I purchased the fan with a thermostat and never touch it. I could have boght the fan without one but no big deal. I like it so much, I am thinking about getting a second one to replace the front fan as well. I would recomend it to anyone who is in the market for a powerful, quiet and efficient fan. It works very well.

Gets the air flowing

On our last trip I bought this to replace one of my standard Maxx Vent covers. The power vent cover is great because you can have it draw air out of the trailer or draw air into the trailer, just flip a switch. It is less noisey than little fan you find in the bathrooms. I decided not to spend the extra for the thermostat model, I figured I could reach up and turn it off. I installed this one in the bedroom, my wife and I like that we can go to sleep with a gentle breeze blowing down on us. You will need extra wire (10ft of 12 or 14 gauge plus a few wire nuts) if you are installing over a vent without power wires by it. I tied into the 12V light in the room. Installed in less than an hour and at a campground at that. I would highly recommend this product.

I chose the unit without the thermostat only because I run on battery most of the time. I was afraid I might leave it on and it would turn on without me knowing it at night or while away. Starting from scratch I installed this fan in about two hours. One hour on top and one hooking up the electrical. The instructions were very well written and the fan works great. It moves a lot of air. There is no intrusion to the roofing at all so no worries about leaks. I'm installing the Maxx Air vent cover over the bathroom vent next.

The Turbo Maxx is excellent for days when the temperature is not so hot but just a little stuffy inside the RV . Just crack the windows at about three inches and the Turbo Maxx will provide fresh air . It also helps when cooking to help remove heat . When I installed ours , the fan controll box had a short that would blow the fuse in the RV . I called customer support and explained that we would be leaving on a trip the next day . The gentleman I spoke with was very understanding and helpful . The new part was overnighted and I installed it and was on my way . Because of the product and very good tech support , I would recomend this product .

I purchased and installed the Turbo/Maxx model 3550 in place of my living room fan. This is in a large class A. Installation instructions were great and easy to follow. The fan is quiet, but it does not move as much air as I expected. It works very well, but I guess I expected it to move as much air as my Fan-Tastic fan in my travel trailer did. Even on high it does not create much of a breeze with or without a window cracked open. I like the fact that I can now leave the fan and cover now open even during storage, and I don't have to worry about rain coming in. There is also no noise while going down the road with the fan cover open and the fan on. That is very nice as well.

I had the Turdo/Maxx 3550 installed when I bought my new 5th wheel. I am very impressed with its ability to move the air. The Turbo/Maxx fan system keeps water condensation on the windows to a minimum. I highly recommend this product.

I installed this fan over the bathroom roof vent to help clear out the moisture after a shower in my Truck Camper. Excellent instructions and straight forward installation. Works great. Would buy again.

I didn't have any problem with this install. It went just like the easy to follow directions. Now, that it's up and running I don't run the a/c half as much because of all the air that comes from this fan. I have probably saved almost the cost of the fan from the gas savings. This is great for boondocking and doesn't drain my battery even on high all night.

I have been thinking of buying one of these items for some time, figured to have them install it. I checked out the camper and found wiring going through the vent area and decided to keep the $69 for myself. I bought the item and had it installed in just about 2 hours. I didn't rush the job and it went smoothly. The instructions are about the best I have ever seen. I think that just about anyone who can climb onto the roof without problems can do the same. It works like the literature says it does.
