Damaged the right rear stabilizer on my keystone passport , so ordered this pair, could not believe the difference in quality in these stabilizers. They where so easy to install, I went ahead and changed both. They are so much better than the stock stabilizers that even though the two front ones are ok, I'll order another set to replace those. Great product!

The Jack is a Great Product

The product is great. I damaged the previous jack leaving the last RV Park we stayed in. I went to Camping World and had one of a pair installed and kept the extra for a spare. The only problem I have is that Camping World charged me for installing two when they only installed one. They were supposed to install a Hot Rod (electric water heater adaption) as well but the cost for doing that was prohibitive. They should have called me to let me know of the additional cost to install the hot rod but failed to do so. They had my RV for about three hours until I returned to pick it up, that's when I got the news about the hot rod conversion. Because the jacks were welded on they justified the cost because they had to cut the old one off and weld the new jack in its place.

Units are very well built and I use them for stabilizing my class C. Definitely plan on using and electric or battery drill in order to use them. The supplied handle is almost useless. Using the drill you can have them set up in minutes. If it wasn't for the handle they would be a 5 star product.

We ordered and received 2 of the ultra scissor jacks from camping world to replace 1 that we damaged on our last trip. Very easy to install (we aren't mechanics) and much heavier and more stable than the original ones on our 2012 keystone passport trailer. We are ordering 2 for the front. Good price too!

By the looks of the package I received an item that had been returned. The foot pad measures 4.5 X 9, the mounting plate measures 3.5 X 7.25, unless there is supposed to be a separate set of plates which would be stupid, there are no installation instructions, nor are they available online. I am a millwright/engineer, I can install them. I am going to contact the store to see if I can return them, not happy at all.

Shipped fast, item as promised and I had them installed by my RV mechanic and he said they were a great buy. Easy to install according to him. I put them on a 31 ft class c motor home and they work excellent. The handle was too short to reach the frame where we installed them, but we lengthened the handle to make it work.

I purchased these on the recommendation of a friend. The jacks are great BUT you have to be a Tri-Athlete to crank the jacks open with any weight on them at all. The only solution is to raise the trailer a tad above level, raise the jacks to just touch the frame, then lower the unit onto the jacks. They do help stabilize things. Maybe it is just an operator problem (ME). Time will tell. Great price though!

They are great. We attached them to the back of our 38' 2011 Mobile Suites with U bolts on the hitch we had ordered w/unit and they really help stabilize the coach. I would not recommend leaving them on when going down road as I hit a dip into gas station and ripped one off, bent other one so had to purchase 2 more.

    Nice Jacks For The Price

I ordered these jacks for my 24' pop up tent trailer, but the mounts on the trailer were too small. The mounting plate for this jack had plenty of universal holes and slots. I was disappointed that my trailer was not able to put this style of stabilizing jack on it. I returned them to the store in Bakersfield for a full refund.

    GOOD PRODUCT

I have not installed them yet but they seem to be of better quality then the ones that came on my camper. The price was a 100 dollars less then the local RV store where I bought the camper from. Unfortunatly the packaging was less then desirable. It showed up with one box destroyed and duck taped up. it was left and shipped in its original packaging. Looks like it feel apart and UPS had to tape it together. Other than that a good product overall.

I used these on the front of a 2004 Jayco Feather Light 23B to replace the standard supports and they made a significant difference in reducing the movement when in the camper. Easily installed in the same place as the original. I did drill and install one extra bolt to the outer hole for more stability in holding the jacks to the frame. I will probably replace the rear supports next season.

These are much lighter weight than I expected. They work well but with the thin metal it wouldn't take much to bend them.

The boxes were banged up and torn the jacks were fine, but if there were bolts/washers or any smaller items included they were gone. I have not installed the jacks as of yet but have no doubt that they will work as well as other products we have gotten from Camping World.

    Stabilizer Jacks

I purchased these jacks for my ATV trailer. They work just fine as expected. The main purpose for buying them was so I could drop my trailer and load and unload my ATV's without being hooked to my tow vehicle, and as expected they work well. I had them welded to the Lt & Rt rear corners of the trailer. This was a wise purchase and the cost was acceptable.

I had purchased two sets of jacks for my camper , replacing some old bent ones. These were very functional and sturdy. Very good price for the set. The only thing that would have made them better is, if the cranks were longer and more sturdy. Great purchase overall!

    Fantastic support

    January 24, 2011
I had a set of cheap non-scissor type stabilizers that were useless on our 30' trailer. Rocked every time the dog rolled over. Bought four of these and installed where the useless ones were and the trailer is rock solid. The speed socket is definitely worth it. Takes just a couple minutes now to set it up and no more shake'n go'n on! Even bought a set for a friend and just installed them on his trailer. Well worth the money and yes, if you have a flat, use a jack, not a stabilizer.

Leveling Jacks, Not To Change Flat Tires With

2 out of 3 people found this review helpful.
    November 17, 2010
If you want a jack to change tires with, BUY ONE. These are leveling jacks to help level and support your camper. Not intended to support the intire weight of your Fifth Wheel camper as some people think. You will need a heavier jack to support entire weight or change tires. AGAIN these are just to help level and support from bouncing, while walking in camper. BUT if you have a smaller camper, I would say they would hold quite a bit.

    I LOVE THESE!!!

I am disabled, so anything that will help me get set up easier is something that I will always take a look at. I purchased a set of these a few months ago. I also purchased the socket for it. I could NOT believe how easy and fast these went down and up using my cordless drill!! No more having to get down and place jack stands, then hand cranking them until they were snug to the frame. I can set two of these in less time than I could one of my old jack stands. I put these on the back of my TT and will be getting two more for the front. Well worth the money!!

Easy to install with your drill. We also purchased the Ultra Speed Socket to use with the drill to put them up and down. They work great and are very quick and easy with the drill and speed socket. The down side is that the mounting plate only goes one direction. It would be better if it would go in either direction. We installed on a 24' travel trailer.

We have a tent trailer and we tried out a pair of the Ultra scissor jacks and just love the difference! the regular attached legs are not strong enough and kept bending and breaking! We left the scissor jacks non- permanent mounted and just slide them under the frame and the tent trailer levels so much faster and much more support! We are buying another pair so we have all four corners supported! I highly recommend for a tent trailer!

    Do not overtighten

446 out of 810 people found this review helpful.
    May 15, 2007
I recently purchased and installed four of these scissor jacks. During our first trip, I broke three of the four by overtightening them while cranking them up to the closed position. Problem was a cheap cotter-type pin inserted in the threaded rod that sheared off when tightened. Once that happened, the jacks had to be tied up or else they would vibrate and drop to the extended position and would have surely caught on the roadway. I purchased hardened keepers and replaced the cheap pins and now my jacks are strong and reliable. It was greasy repair. By the way, it didn't really take a lot of effort to shear those pins, so be careful. Now that they are modified, I love them.
