Vent Stick Works Great, BUT ...

Purchased product and it worked great for several years. It loosened and would no longer open the vent. I tightened the screw and it worked fine for a while, but then the plastic cracked and failed. The plastic looks brittle where it cracked. There is sun exposure and heat at the vent, and it seems the plastic may not have been designed for the sun and heat. A metal component would be a better solution. While I am disappointed with the failure, I am ordering another VentStik.
