The fan is vary good quality. The old fan interfered with the TV. It would be nice if some one came up with a filter system to remove the dust when you are moving air into the camper.

Removal of old fan was easy and installation of Vortex II was simple and straight forward.Could have used another hand! Works great, moves a lot of air in or out. A bit noisey, but it is running fast!

Good upgrade to the cheap factory fan. I installed this in a 5th wheel bathroom to help with the moisture during and after a shower. Other than being a little on the noisy side, fan moves a lot of air compared to the original fan. Installation was easy and straight-forward.

Seems to move much more air than original bath fan with a little less noise. Very easy to install relative to some projects I've done on RV. Much less expensive than some other brands and models. Multiple speeds are nice feature. It is fairly quiet on low and still draws air out.

This fan is everything it is advertised to be and more. I found it easy to install and it is very quiet compared to the old fan. As mine was for the bathroom I was able, with some patience, to install a timer to complete the upgrade. I am very pleased with this product.

This is an update to the review I left on June 2, 2012. There doesn't appear to be a way for me to edit my original review. The switch went bad shortly after I installed this fan. Customer Service from the manufacturer was outstanding. The technician spent time on the phone walking me through the replacement procedure. They shipped me a new switch at no cost, not even shipping. Replacing the switch was easy and the fan has worked flawlessly since. This is an outstanding fan upgrade. I change my rating from 2 starts to 5 stars. Highly recommended!

Replaced the lame tiny 12 volt factory unit. Unit installed fairly easy with the exception of the final fit. Holding it over your head and trying to tuck the wiring in is a bit of a challenge, so have a helper handy. Fan works as advertised with both in/out air flow. Seems a bit loud on high settings, but it also moves a lot of air. It had a bit of a wobble in the blades, but it does not seem to effect the operation. Be aware, it does block the light more than the factory units. I also purchased a Fantastic Fan for the bath room, it was a lot more expensive and did not have reverse. For the price, this is a great upgrade and allows you to reverse the airflow.

Replaced OEM single speed bath fan. Overall took an hour to install, 30 minutes of which was spent trying to align holes & vent crank. Only after removing tabs on sides of Vortex fan assembly did all align. Once tabs were removed, installation was easy. Instructions were good, except they did NOT mention removing tabs. Did not find fan noise too loud. Much quieter than OEM fan.

This fan is an outstanding upgrade for the old buzz and whir factory fans in the comode room. Much quieter (not silent) and move a lot of air. The variable speed settings are great. It kept the air circulating when I'm not at my motorhome. After a few months, it stopped working. At first, I had only high forward speed available and both reverse speeds. Later that weekend, I had no speeds available and the knob now spins freely 360 degrees. Quite a disappointment as I really enjoyed the fan. Hoping to get a warranty replacement as I will not purchase another. If it still worked, I would give 5 stars instead of 2. Maybe the manufacturer will respond to this review...
