Best I ever used... - August 10, 2008

I don't usually write rave reviews about a BBQ?? but in my 16 years of RV-ing, I've tried 4 or 5 of 'em; this is just an amazing and quite portable grill. I've used it for 6 weeks now, and it cooks very quickly, with surprising uniformity. It does not flare up - even, for example, with fatty lamb chops - and the finished product is juicy (if it was juicy when you started, of course) and crispy outside, but just right inside. It is easy to clean, handy to store, and although somewhat pricey, it's definitely worth the money, if you like to cook outdoors. I have a 4-foot propane hose with the proper connection for both an aux tank, and for the BBQ's connection, so I don't have to mess with the expensive green cylinders. And that hose is widely available, in a number of lengths; just be sure that the one you might buy, is a proper fit with the female connection on the grill. In short - I was astonished at how well this little grill works, and it has enough space easily to cook for two, and maybe more, depending upon the size of your party.,,, You will be amazed at how quickly your dinner is ready!!

This grill is The Boss! - July 03, 2008

We purchased the Baby Q a few weeks ago and it is one of the best investments we've made! Another review mentioned the drip pan - it REALLY DOES catch the mess! And, it's easy to dump. The grill cooks evenly all the way around and we did 4 New York Strips on it last week - they all fit and there was room for a couple more! We also discovered that the Baby Q is WONDERFUL for cooking up bacon - we tried it for the fun of it and were totally amazed. The bacon fried up crisp - the grease dripped to the pan - and it had a tasty flavor. The best part is that the trailer stove didn't need to be used (and the smoke alarm wasn't set off - haha!) We highly recommend this grill - try cutting up potatoes, placing them in foil with pats of butter, chopped onions & green peppers, salt & pepper - fold and squeeze the foil ends tight and place on grill - turning about every 5 minutes or so. The potatoes will steam and cook in about 1/2 hour - use the leftovers for breakfast. Buy this grill! You'll be glad you did!
