At first I was considering the model down from this one because we are in our RV, Now I am extremely satisfied with this size. It is large enough to cook a pizza in and works great.

This grill is a good size, not too big not too small, and seems to be built solid for being portable. We've used it twice so far and are really impressed with how evenly it heats and cooks (steaks and brats).

    Excellent All Around BBQ

We purchased the Weber Q220 earlier this year as our RV camping BBQ. We have found it to be an excellent all around BBQ. There's enough space to cook for a small group yet it's light enough and compact enough to stow while in transit. The electric start and fuel control work smoothly. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the plastic fold out trays can actually support some weight. The only reason we would give it 4 out of 5 stars is because the BBQ doesn't really get hot enough to effectively make pancakes, tortillas, etc. Also, watch out for critters that like to lick/chew the drip pan. If we didn't already have a home BBQ, we would get the cart accessory and confidently use this BBQ for double duty. This BBQ would make an excellent house-warming gift.

we bought one of these to replace a cheap table top model that we had used for years. The weber cooks evenly and outperforms all other small grills I have used over the years. This is truly a 5 star product.

We love it... It is just what we expected, it cooks great and evenly. We were so impressed with friends that had one that we camp with - is the reason we ended up deciding to go with Weber. We have the stand and the cover. It is perfect for us.

    Great Grill!

This weekend was our first time using it, so I will write about my experience: First I will start with the cons. This thing is big and bulky. If you don’t have the space to carry this grill, then suggest you look at other grills. The cast iron grate alone weighs at least 25lbs. I suggest buy the rolling duffel bag to avoid the back problems. Second, as I mentioned before the propane tanks are un-common. However, after reading other reviews and going to my local Home Depot store I found them for about $2.71 each. I bought eight and stored them in my RV compartment. That was it for the cons. The rest is nothing but grilling heaven. The assembly out the box is pretty straight forward and not hard at all. The first time I used it was at breakfast. I toasted English muffins (about 4 but in half), used a frying pan the scramble eggs, and made Canadian bacon. The muffins were nice and toasty, just like they are when you use a toaster. The bacon had the nice grill marks and the eggs although took a while scrambled perfectly. For lunch I grilled chicken wings and some bell peppers. The chicken was a perfect with the nice grill marks, and the veggies cooked nicely with the same grill marks. We added a salad and boy this meal was great. My wife was very impressed. She suggested that some of her family might be jealous because our grill was so nice. (Sweet!) For dinner I grilled some asparagus and cooked steaks. Again the meal was perfect. I was very impressed with the way the thing grills, very consistent.

The cast aluminum shell is easy to keep clean. The cast iron grate is incredibly heavy and obviously high quality. But the simple design of the stainless steel burner assembly makes this grill perform like a high quality 'big' (non-portable) grill. I found that to get the grill to fit in the basement storage in my 5er I have to pull the 2 pins and remove the lid, then reassemble once in the storage bay. Same for removing from storage to use. This is a very small inconvenience for the quality of the grill. Definately get the folding cart, and the tank adapter.
