Can't say if it helps. Wineguard needs to update. Turning the antena is old school with digital so your better off buying one of those round ones. You don't have to raise/lower it or turn and I have seen great pics from them.

I installed this antenna to replace Winegard omni directional. Do Yourself a favor and buy this batwing. Anything thats omni-directional just don't work unless your sitting on top of the station. This batwing is easy to install and is the best I have ever seen. My picture was almost satellite clear on a few stations. Even the far away stations came in much clearer than the omni directional. If you cant aim the antenna as far as Iam concerned the antenna is useless.. This is as perfect as you can get from a over the air antenna...

Impressive Reception Even in Fringe Areas

We have one of these on our 05 travel trailer and it's parked under live oaks in the deep woods of North Central Florida in a fringe area, and yet we pick up all kinds of HD TV signals. Probably 20+ channels. We were stunned that it worked so well. We add the snap on Wingman unit, too, which boosts it even further, but it was great without it, too. We use a 19" Samsung flatscreen TV in the kitchen/LR which has a built in HD receiver, and we have an older smaller CRT TV with a digital converter in the bunk bedroom. Well worth the money!
