Description

Designed exclusively for DISH satellite TV programming, the Pathway X2 antenna is powered through a DISH ViP 211 series HD receiver #73912, requiring no separate power cord.
Simply activate the receiver through an existing DISH account or subscribe to a new Pay-As-You-Go programming package. Pathway X2 can point to either Western or Eastern arc satellites, offering the most programming available. Larger reflector size provides superior signal performance compared to other automatic portable satellite systems. Lightweight yet rugged, the Pathway X2 offers the fastest, easiest set up. Features 2 coax inputs for multiple receiver hook-up, an easy-grip carry handle and a security eyelet molded into the base so the antenna can be locked up. Includes one 25' coax cable. Stands 21" dia. x 20 3/4"H open; stores at 21"D x 15"H. Works with Carryout Tripod #47715 (sold separately). Not compatible with Carryout ladder mount. Made in the USA.

We thought we had read everything well, purchased this unit and a second receiver to allow us to view two channels on two TVs in our RV. We knew you could not watch channels that were on different satellites. With one TV set up, we did receive all three satellites. When we changed it to two TVs, you only get satellite 72--a satellite from a different hemisphere. It gives us all our channels EXCEPT local channels. The only way we can get local TV is use air channels or go back to setup, select one receiver, and rescan. NOT a good solution to being able to access your channels plus it removes reception from the second TV. I will add, when you setup there is a mode selection to allow you to select east or west hemisphere if you are only setting up ONE receiver. When you select two receivers, you no longer have the option to select which mode or group of satellites you want to access. I did find a reference to this after the fact. It may have been clear to the tech who wrote it, but even now with what I know, it wasn't that clear what it was actually saying. So instead of saying you can watch two channels on the same satellite, they ought to be blunt and say with two TVs you can only access one satellite and no local channels. Reception is good although we have not had rain since we set it up. This unit replaced the Dish Tailgater, which worked well but was for only one TV, but reception was always lost in a small rain or snow storm or even at times heavy wind. We live full-time in a fifth-wheel.
