I bought this in December during a internet special hoping the reviews were correct as I already had a portable that worked very well. I was just getting tired of zoning in on a signal when it would be cold, dark, raining, or I had other things to do and the grandkids would be saying, "fix the TV I'm bored!" Anyway, I took the ad into the store as I am not the one to try and install one of these. Camping World in Fife was absolutely awesome right from the first meeting. They worked easily around my schedule, honored the internet price, and gave me an installation discount. The installation was very clean and professional. They did an excellent job installing the unit and switch. I have used it 4 times already and my wife and I are both thrilled with it. I am no longer frustrated trying to get a signal and the grandkids are quietly watching TV. We have been to one fairly wooded camp area and I was only getting about half my channels. I moved the motorhome 12 inches(1 foot) and boom, all stations work perfect. I would not hesitate in recommending this unit to friends, family, or anyone that would listen.

Bought this MiniMax on line from Camping World but couldn't find anyone to install here in Northwest Louisiana. We made a weekend trip to Fort Worth for Camping World to install and Kenny from Camping World was incredible... He explained and installed everything perfectly. Thanks.

Robert installed it and as usual with camping world work it was excellent. He walked me through every detail of the installation and its use. No more lugging around outside unit. I like turning on and that is all i have to do. Looking forward to next trip.

Now that we have the system setup properly it is a blessing to have and use.The problem is we had is we have the 311 receiver which you have to setup differently than insturctions listed. If you have this receiver you need to call wineguard service and they will walk you through it to reprogram to work properly. Now when we get somewhere we turn it on and with in 5 min we have satelite working and we are done. Very pleased to have this system than the one we had before and trying to search for signal is no more impossible. Also this is a single LNB so you have to have power to satelite at all times to switch between satelites while changing stations to have all stations available. Very Happy Campers!!!

We enjoy camping in our motorhome at the lake, but until now we have always dreaded setting up the satellite dish. We had a signal finder, but getting the exact angle, tilt, etc was a nerve stretching pain. By the time we finished we were ready to pitch tv, satellite and all in the lake. No longer. It couldn't be simpler, Set it out, power up and within minutes we have TV.

I never had a satellite TV system before. I purchased this item and had it installed at the Camping World in Burlington, WA by a technician named Robert. Prior to the installation, Robert explained exactly what he was going to do. He gave me options on where to locate the antenna on the roof of my trailer and recommended it be placed at the front of the trailer. When the installation was complete, Robert gave me a briefing on how to operate the system, and then explained again exactly what he had done. I inspected the system installation. I could find nothing wrong with the work, no sawdust residue, no bits of wire or electrical tape remained in the area. It was a very neat installation. He informed me that should I have any questions later to call Camping World and ask for him. Back at the RV park after my system was activated, I was amazed at the clarity of the picture and the ease of operation. There was nothing for me to do but push buttons on a remote and watch satellite TV. The unit is sleek and looks neat mounted on the front of the trailer. The system receives signals with no problem, and I am located next to trees in the park. I am totally satisfied with the system and the installation, and should have done this a year ago. There are no dish or tripod adjustments to make, no compass or azimuth readings to adjust, no equipment to set up and connect. Totally wonderful.

My old King Dome was giving me headaches, and this new Wineguard was described to me as awesome. I echo that description. Flip a switch, and a few short minutes later, the picture appears. Hasn't failed me yet, and the price is right, too. Should have made the change months ago.

I had a dish on a tripod and got sick of not being able to find a signal so I decided to get one put on the roof. It took me a few tries to get it to work but after figuring out I have to do a front panel reset everytime i park the motorhome, all is great. The only issue is I asked Camping World to install it on the front of the motor home cause where I go camping has a lot of trees and they put it in the middle so I have to park as close to the front of the space as I can possibly get in order for it to work. The HD is great. I have to say it's a little loud and clunky when finding a signal. Other than that one issue, this is probably the best upgrade I have ever done to my RV.

I purchased this unit due to its sale price and customer reviews. I installed this antenna myself. Prior to bolting everything down, I had all connection made and turned the unit on. Within 60 seconds the antenna had found the satellite and started to down load new grid guide information. We had picture within 90 seconds. Very impressed by this antenna. Very simple to use; turn on and let it go. You will not be disappointed.

The convenience of easily obtaining a satellite signal makes this purchase worth every penny of its cost. It locates a signal within 90 seconds and you have the ability to relax and enjoy your vacation without the stress of further complicating your camp site set up process. I highly reccommend this purchase!

I have owned my trailer for two years now. I love my satellite. I was one of those who had a signal finder and spent a lot of time trying to find a signal. Sometimes up to 2 hours finding the signal with a manual dish and tripod. Now I have the MiniMax Automatic Stationary Satellite. What a difference. I installed it myself and it took about 2 hours. I flipped the switch, and within 60 sec. I got my signal. Now I can enjoy my setup times. The price of the dish was well worth it. It saves me time so I can enjoy my camping trips. IT'S IS GREAT. I recommend this for those, who like me, like to watch satellite TV.
