i was thinking of just getting the add-on attachment but talked myself into getting the whole head. and man can i tell you i am so happy i did. easy installation and gets amazing reception. now all i need is the 5.1 surround sound installed

I am from Minnesota and was having trouble getting reception wherever we would go. So before spending several hundred dollars on a satellite system, I spent the $60. for the sensar IV. When it came i pulled out the ladder and took off the moss covered, brittle 10 year old antenna, and in 5 mins the new one was on and ready. What a difference. I now get both digital and analog, from 10 to 20 channels depending on our location. So heres the deal, If your rig is more then 10 years old, and your antenna looks it, you can be sure the inside is just as bad. Get the whole Sensar IV antenna and not just the $20 digital add on like i did first. That one is on the old batwing sitting in my garage.

I was told I needed a new antennae. I bought the replacement head for instead $60.00 as mine was visibly damaged, and it is a quick fix, and works great. Quite the money saver.

Replaced the stock Winegard I replaced the Winegard Sensar III that came stock with my KZ Sportsmen Classic travel trailer (why a 2012 trailer would come with a basic VHF only antenna, I don't know.) Just having to upgrade the head was nice and cheaper. Install was all of 5 minutes with a ladder. a pair of needle nose pliers to remove/install clips and a wrench to final tighten the coaxial cable. Camping in hilly southwestern New Hampshire. the Sensar III barely got signal, and then even after double boosting the signal, lost it completely. The Sensar IV is giving me all three HD PBS channels, just using the signal booster of the trailer.
