Designed to work with all Sensar antennas, the SensarPro replaces your current power supply and makes peaking on digital channels a breeze. SensarPro is an all in one product that acts as a signal meter, adjustable amplifier and wall plate power supply for your Sensar antenna.

It is ready out of the box and can be customized for specific search modes eliminating guesswork and frustration. Built in amplification can give you up to 10 dB of gain for increased performance or the ability to lower the gain when positioned near a tower. Adjustable audio feedback comes in handy when the wall plate is out of sight or reach.

High grade electronic digital tuner focuses on all digital broadcast frequencies and ignores non-TV broadcast signals to provide precise and accurate channel readings. Proudly designed, tested and built in the U.S.A.

Not easy replacement

If you are planing on replacing an existing Winegard Amp this may not be the answer. I called Winegard with my mounting concerns and was told it's not meant for new applications. I McGivered it to work, but thank goodness it's hidden behind the TV. Not a pretty installation. My old amp had the 12V cigarette lighter type socket with a power on switch. If this is what your replacing it is not an easy fit.
Pros: Great design
Cons: Fit existing amp

Pretty good, but wished it had more gain

My hole was big enough not to need modification (connections are at rear top and bottom of the unit). I actually like that they have short 4 stub outs to connecting antenna leads a (easier to connect/disconnect). I camp where I barely get a signal with lots of noise (dropouts). My antenna was positioned for best signal already, so no help there. Setting the gain to 20 provided a bit better signal than the old unit (no picture on the default gain setting of 10 - my guess is the fixed power injector has a gain about equal to about 16 on this unit). My newer LED TV didn't have any channel strength indicator. I actually found that in my location, setting the antenna down 2/3 too close actually provided my optimum signal and strength indication. Instructions say below 40 is iffy for reception, but mine had very few dropouts over the week. My TV was unwatchable with signal strength at 34, may vary by tuner sensitivity.

Greatly Simplifies Aiming my Antenna

Digital TV has given us beautiful HD images, but if you've repeatedly gone through the ordeal of guessing where to aim your RV antenna, scanning for channels, then readjusting the antenna and re-scanning to see what you missed, you know that is a nuisance. This device offered to solve that problem, so I ordered one from Camping World. My 2011 Itasca Sunova 33C came equipped with a Winegard antenna and built- in amplifier, so I anticipated that replacing the factory-installed antenna amplifier with this SensarPro would be a simple swap job. How wrong I was! Fortunately, I had a nibbling tool in my shop, some good files and old metalworking skills, so I went to work enlarging the hole in that steel plate. It was long, tedious work nibbling and filing that steel plate, but I'm delighted to say that my work was rewarded. After mounting this device on the panel opening I made and established all of the connections, oriented my antenna for optimum signal strength shown on the panel, set the amplifier's gain at maximum and ran a channel scan. Having my motorhome parked about halfway between New York and Philadelphia, I was able to pick up 46 digital channels. The SensarPro instructions suggest setting the gain at 10, but my best results came from the maximum setting 20. Great device.

Great Upgrade

The Sensar Pro installs easily and works well and is a nice upgrade from the standard amplifier.Having the ability to observe the relative signal strength of the TV station on the wall plate makes antenna orientation much easier and more accurate than was possible before installing this device. If you have a traditional wall plate which has connections for satellite and TV on the front you will have to purchase and install a two jack face plate to maintain access to the satellite cable and TV-1 jacks which pass through the stock plate and are not present on the Sensar. Well worth the money and effort to install.

Great improvement over old units

A near lightning strike fried my old power supply / amp and I replaced it with the Sensar-Pro. It was very easy to install and the instructions were very complete. I moved the location slightly so it was more visible, but it could be totally hidden and the audible indicator would still tell you when you were aimed correctly with the antenna. From where I park my unit in my back yard I get better reception than with the old unit. Our first time out to a place we have been before I found out that I had been pointing the antenna almost 45 degrees off of best signal whenever we went there. Correct aim and better digital amp really improve the signal.
