I love the basket too but it does damage your bike. Where it rests on the column below the handle bars, it will dig into the paint. Since you turn the handle bars back and forth, this part does not turn and just grinds away at the bike. Too bad for this design flaw.

Great basket and very stable. No tools needed to install or move from bike to bike. I would have given it 5 stars but only comes in one color. I wanted black for my other bike... because now I want a second one.
