Very reasonably priced. My remote lasted a little over 2 years. Went online to buy the remote only but couldn't get it without buying the whole unit. I like the memory for the high and low temps for the day, inside and out. Cheap enough to buy the whole unit again.

We have been using this small, but accurate wireless weather station the last few months (Dec and Jan) while 'living' in our 5th wheel in Central Texas. Because we are staying in a park several miles from the nearest town where temperature readings apply, it has been great to monitor the temperature outside to let us know if we are dipping to freezing temps so we can disconnect our water hose. The small size doesn't allow for across-the-room-viewing, but we hung ours in a hall area near other thermostats and is easy to read. I purchased the wireless station when it was on sale, which was an extra bonus, but even at its regular price, it's a good buy for a light-weight, accurate weather station.

It is great for the inside temperature and without going outside you know the outside temperature of the camper. In face we liked it so much we gave them as gifts to all that go camping with us. (9 of them)

IN COLD WEATHER, we put the remote sensor IN the motor home and bring the receiver in to the house. We keep a small ceramic heater on in the motor home and aim for 40 degrees to keep supplies from freezing. Saves running out to check temp in Motor home.

Another Idea

This year, we chose not to fully winterize our 5th wheel. Since we have a 30 amp connection for our trailer from our home, we are letting the furnace run at a reduced temperature to keep the inside of the trailer at a constant temperature. We bought the wireless temperature station and put the remote sensor in the trailer and put the display inside our home. We can constantly monitor the temp inside our trailer and know immediately when we need to swap over propane bottles. Works like a champ and, for less than $25.00, we constantly know the trailer temp.

Nice unit for the low price. Shows inside and outside temperature and has a manual set clock. Has memory feature for highs/lows over a period of time. Lacks the extra features of the higher priced units but if you only want to know the basics you can't go wrong for the $9.99 investment.
