I tried installing these every way I could think of on my three bikes with dropped bars. It would just not work to hold a bike up by this adapter. The instructions that came with the adapters (printed on the back of the package) were poorly written and illustrated so I looked online at the manufacturer's website-no help there either. I am sending them back disappointed because they looked well built when I took them out of the package.
