Description

Improve your RV’s handling control and overall drive without sacrificing comfort or quality. Built to last, the shock’s patented monotube design allows rising heat to escape unlike conventional dual-tube shocks that keep heat trapped inside, which may result in shock fade and failure. These reliable shocks keep tires in constant contact with the road, helping to enhance driving control and ensure safety, and also react more quickly to changing road conditions. Bilstein’s gas pressure shocks are engineered to withstand maximum loads, provide high durability and offer a smooth, comfortable ride.

Why Bilstein Shocks are Better:

  • Seamless monotube design for superior tube strength, maximum heat dissipation and longer shock life
  • Rising rate damping reacts more quickly to changing road conditions than conventional shocks, so ride stays smooth without harsh rebounding
  • High pressure nitrogen gas keeps constant pressure on the internal oil column, so tires stay in contact with the road surface, enhancing control and safety
  • Shocks maintain dumping ability as heat rises with “floating” dividing piston that lets oil expand to virtually eliminate foaming and viscosity loss
  • Features hard chromed piston rod, one-piece alloy rod guide and superior seal design, with no check valves or springs to wear out
  • Mfr. lifetime warranty

Bilstein Gas Pressure Shocks are available for most RVs and tow vehicles. If you don’t see your vehicle listed, call 1.877.273.8993 for information. Shocks sold individually.

    Incredible handling - September 02, 2008

Switched out the front and shocks from my 1980 Dodge Class C and I couldn't believe the difference. The comfort remained very good, although the ride was noticeably firmer, but the handling was transformed. OK, I won't be going racing in it any time soon but it is so much easier to drive. It doesn't wallow and change direction over every bump in the road so I don't spend the whole journey correcting the steering. Excellent shocks, I have had them on for more 20,000 miles over 3years and they still work and look like new.

Bilsteins are the best! - June 18, 2008

My experience with these shocks on 6 different vehicles over the past 21 years has been exceptional. Don't even consider the other, low or no pressure shock designs. You won't be nearly as satisfied with the ride, handling or longevity.
