Used RV Furniture

It might be easier to find used RV furniture in your area than you think. Many RV dealers swap out standard RV furniture for upgrades when owners upgrade their RVs, and this used RV furniture is often available much cheaper than the same new furniture. In addition, some people do upgrades when they purchase their new RV, so the "used RV furniture" may not really be used at all.

You can also find used RV furniture at many locations online. However, shipping this furniture can be expensive, so be sure to factor shipping costs into the overall cost of the furniture. Take exact measurements of your current furniture so you know your used RV furniture will fit in the existing space, and find out if your used RV furniture dealer offers any kind of warranty on their used RV furniture.

RV Replacement Furniture

If you're searching for RV replacement furniture, you may be able to find surplus furniture online, or you might find it at local dealers who are closing out discontinued lines or old RV parts and replacements. Some RV furniture manufacturers put their surplus furniture online at deeply discounted prices, so you can save quite a bit of money if you shop around.

When you purchase RV replacement furniture, check with the seller to find out if the purchase price includes installation of the new RV replacement furniture and removal of the old furniture. If you're purchasing a big piece of RV replacement furniture, such as a mattress or sofa, take time beforehand to make measurements to make sure it will fit in the door of your RV. Many items of RV replacement furniture are so large that you have to take out a window or the windshield in order to get them inside the RV.

Outdoor Recreational Vehicle Furniture

Don't forget outdoor recreational furniture when you're stocking your RV for your first trip. Many RVers spend as much time outdoors relaxing as they do inside their RV, and you'll need comfortable and durable outdoor recreational vehicle furniture if you want to be relaxed and in style outdoors. You can find a variety of comfortable and fun styles as well as a range of colors of outdoor recreational furniture.

As you shop for outdoor recreational furniture, you'll find that your choices aren't just limited to plastic chairs and tables. You'll discover outdoor recliners, folding picnic sets, adjustable height tables, grill tables, and much more. Since you spend so much time outdoors when you travel in your RV, it pays to shop for the most comfortable and versatile outdoor recreational vehicle furniture you can find.

How to Measure for Replacement RV Chairs

Before you replace your RV Chair or RV Recliner, you need to take accurate measurements to ensure they fit into the space correctly and safely. We have many types of RV Seat Covers

  • Height: You should measure the height of the chair from the floor to the top of the chair, including the pedestal.
  • Pedestal height: Measure from the floor to the TOP of the plate where the chair mounts to the pedestal.
  • Width: Measure at the widest point, from the outside edge of one arm to the outside edge of the other arm.
  • Depth: Measure from the front of the chair to the deepest part of the back of the chair (not the cushion, but the back edge of the chair). For recliners, the chair should be in the closed and upright position when you measure the depth.

If you don't measure your RV chairs completely accurately, you may end up with replacement RV chairs that don't fit in the space you have. Measuring accurately is critical for getting the right replacement RV chairs.

Convertible RV Furniture

Since interior space in RVs is so limited, it makes sense to buy RV furniture that can serve more than one purpose. For example, you can get a dining table that folds up into another bed, or a table that folds out to make extra seating space for dining. There are also computer desks with pull-out tables that turn the entire area into a dining table when you need it, which is something anyone who works on the road would certainly appreciate.

Other options are an end table that flips up to create a computer desk and folding tables that mount into the wall and fold flat when they aren't in use. If you're having trouble finding living space in your RV, look for RV furniture that coverts from one piece to another. This way you can have double the RV furniture and still enjoy more living space at the same time.
