Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great grilling addition We struggled at first and even Camping World said it would not work. Well, when you think about what you are trying to do (use regulated gas from the camper system) and your grill has gas temperature controls outside of the grill regulator, you just go straight to the grill with no additional regulator (which will not work at all, so remove the grill regulator if you can). A connection to the grill from the camper system is already at the right pressure as the tank feeds have a regulator (think of this as another stove, no regulator there, no reg on the grill) works fantastically!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why do I do this I guess its ok it is just a propane hose. it isnt diamond studded or have any special qualities. this is one of the reasons I hate reviewing things and only review things I have trouble with. Honestly what can you say about a hose??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase. I had just purchased a new trailer with Quick connect propane couplings so I purchased this hose to connect my propane appliances to the trailer. it worked wonderful. now I don't have to carry extra bottles op propane along when camping. I would recommend this to any one that has the quick couple on their trailer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissatisfied Not the hose' fault i guess. It hooks up ok, but my 2018 Thor hurricane motorhome does not have enough pressure to run a candle. Bad design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Probably will not do what you want I purchased this hose to replace the small bottles on my bbq. I told the rep at Camping World what I was looking for and he sold me this. He should have known it won’t work on low pressure systems and a regulator on your bbq. Most trailers have low pressure systems at the bbq outlet. Once you take the regulator off the bbq this hose won’t work. Anyone want to buy a new unused hose.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad at both ends At the male end, the wall of the connecter is too thin to open the quick connect valve on the trailer. On the female end, the valve is too deep for the male connecter to open. If you don't mind making shims for both ends, it is a fine product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from You have got to be kidding me RV Quick connects are generically low pressure "water", high pressure stoves are 100 times more pressure, or more. At best, this will not work, at worst, making all the changes you need might be a fire hazard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Used on trailer to bbq attachment This product may not resolve your small gas appliance sourcing. My gas to a small bbq now goes thru two regulators, the trailer’s and the bbq’s. I cannot seem to get enough gas flow to get above a low temp setting.

Will this work for a Coleman Roadtrip 285? Also, how you can you tell if you need to add a tee to a propane tank on a rv?

Asked by: Rick
While the fitting on this hose will allow you to connect it to the regulator on the Roadtrip 285, this grill should not be connected to the low pressure quick connect commonly found on a RV. The low pressure propane line is regulated by the RV's onboard regulator. When you connect a portable propane appliance with its own onboard regulator to a low pressure line, you will not get optimal performance if the appliance will even run at all. You will need to do one to two things. One, see if you can remove the portable propane appliance's regulator so you can attach your own fitting for RV quick connect. For some products you can find a ready to use conversion kit, see SKU# 115951 as an example. Or two, add a tee in between your RV's onboard propane tanks and regulator so that you can run gas to a propane appliance where the appliance's onboard regulator will handle the gas flow. SKU# 117271 is an example of one of these kits. If the appliance can be modified by removing the regulator and attaching a compatible fitting, then a tee kit would not be needed.

Will this fit or work with a Cuisinart CGG-180T Petit Gormet Portable Tabletop gas grill?

I have a quick connect line on the back of my R V from the l p tank up front.
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, this would be the correct hose for connecting an appliance that uses disposable propane bottles, like the CGG-180T, to a quick connect propane line. However, due to the onboard regulator on the grill, the propane line from the RV must be non-regulated. If the quick connect line from your RV is low pressure(regulated) you will want to install a tee like SKU#24020 or SKU#30340 to create a bypass before the RV's onboard propane regulator. The bypass will allow you to connect portable propane appliances that have built on regulators.

How do I connect my 3 burner stove from Costco to my trailer

I'm trying to hook up my 3 burner stove from Costco to my quick connect propane line on my RV is it even possible?
Asked by: Charlie
It depends on the specs and design of the stove you purchased. If your stove has an onboard regulator to use disposable propane bottles, no. The stove will have to be modified with removal of the regulator plus any proper adapters to connect to a quick connect line from your RV that is normally feed after the onboard propane regulator. If the stove has an attached hose with regulator at the end like a typical BBQ grill, modification is a lot easier since the hose can be removed and the inlet is normally a standard pipe thread of some sort. Specs will need to be double checked to ensure that needed propane flow of the stove matches output the regulator on your RV.

Will this work with a Weber Q 2000 Grill?

Asked by: Anonymous
This hose is correct for connecting a propane appliance that runs primarily off of disposable bottles. However, the Weber Q portable grill has an onboard regulator and should not be connected to a low pressure source which is common for RV quick connect systems. The quick connect appliance hose on the RV is normally fed after the onboard regulator making the line low pressure.

Will this connect a Coleman Roadtrip Legacy Grill to the propane supply of a Winnibego Journey 36m

I have read the answers re dual regulation but there must be a hose that runs from onboard rv propane to a portable grill that normally uses propane cylinders.

We unfortunately can not confirm fit by Year/Make/Model of an RV.

Will this work for a Aussie grill and Keystone Passport hook up?

Asked by: Anonymous
If your grill uses disposable 1# propane bottles, this hose will connect to it. However, on the RV side, the propane will need to be un-regulated from the onboard tank. Portable grills do not function correctly when using a low pressure propane source mainly due to its own onboard regulator. A propane 'tee' with an accessory port is installed before the RVs onboard regulator to allow high pressure flow from a tank to a portable appliance that uses disposable propane bottles.

Is there a way to connect the weber q100 from my rv qc to the bbq. I read the q&a re same on this site.

Asked by: Anonymous
Without modification of the grill, no.
Since the WeberQ grills do not have a single assembly LP hookup and burner control, it is technically possible to remove the regulator and install an appropriate fitting to convert to RV low pressure with quick connect.
However, this will void warranty because of a 'custom modification' of the unit and the owner is solely liable for anything that may occur due to modification of the grill.
