Rated 1 out of 5 by from Oversold Just bought this compressor to replace my Slime brand compressor which wore out. The Slime model wasn't much, but it was better than this one. I've only used the new compressor to fill my truck tires, but it had a hard time getting to the 33 lbs. required and took at least five minutes to add five pounds. The sales description says that it will fill tires up to 150 lbs, but I seriously doubt that it would make it that high, especially since the instructions say not to run it for more than ten minutes! The only reason I haven't returned it to Camping World is that the nearest store is a four hour drive from my home in Maine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works... I've recently bought this air compressor and had to use it on our first trip with it. Honestly, I'm extremely happy we had the item. The only downfall was that the cord is short. It works great if you are using it for the car, but we have a 35 foot travel trailer. The trailers tire was low (almost flat). I had to pull over, unhitch the trailer, and back the SUV closer to the tire. Afterward I bought an extender cable from Camping World so I should have have the issue again. http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/25-12-volt-extension-cord/67263 As for the product I was very happy to have it and it worked well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and solid made for inflating The best light weight pump that I have ever owned. It is small and easy to handle. It is quick filling for its size. Many reviews say it is slow, but it should be judged by its size not compared with its big brother that is 3 or even 10 times bigger than this portable unit. So far, I only need 120psi, so not sure it will go 150. It is a good on-road wonder to save time and money when you need a tire man but in middle of beautiful site that is just hard to call help. The screw on is a plus for hard to reach tire valve, it is little tricky but once you lineup with head it is not so hard to use, it has better seal then clamping head. Only disappoint is one of the damping on the feet is sheared when I received it. and the light cover has little crack which maybe cause by shipping or bad packing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 12 volt air compressor By the time you can get the screw on hose on the tire stem, most of air goes out of the tire. Then when you finally get the pressure where you want it, you loose about 5 to 8 pounds getting it unscrewed. It also took a long time to get just 32 lbs. of pressure in a tire. Looks good, doesn't work well. By the way, I did have the engine running, so the voltage was up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Bad Seems like it took a long time to inflate my rv tire to 90 psi but it did do it. For such a small unit it is worth having it on the road when you don't have a air compressor handy. This is why I bought it to carry on trips. I think it will be worth the peace of mind knowing I have a way to pump up a low tire on the road.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 12-Volt Air Compressor I was extremely surprised when this thing managed to fill all six of my motorhomes tires to the needed 150 psi. Unfortunately, it did have a hard time: taking upwards of an hour for some of the flatter tires and taking even longer on a continuous use. Handy item nonetheless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small and Efficient Compressor It is small but it can still deliver the 110 psi I need for my fifth wheel tires. I have tested it and it does the job. The instructions talk about a relatively short duty cycle but that is long enough to top off tires while on a long trip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the first by for my RV I am VERY Happy Took only a week to get my compressor and used it soon as I received it. This is an outstanding buy. Everyone should have one in their home. Thank you, Camping World.

Can you plug this into a 110V house socket?

Asked by: Scott
This compressor only has a 12VDC cigarette lighter plug, to connect it to a 110VAC source. A converter like SKU#84654 would be needed.

Is there an extension cord in order to reach the rear tires of a 26 ft rv?

Asked by: sandy
The cord recommended above has a 5 amp fuse in the plug, and is NOT suitable for high draw items such as a small air compressor. Camping World recommends this cord for use with their air compressors, and it will soon fail, which customer comments have shown. A heavy duty cord is available from Bestek, 12ga wire and rated for 30 amps, 12 ft long. I strongly urge Camping World to stock this cord and stop recommending a cord that is not up to the jog. Details can be found on Amazon.
