A number of current generation passenger vehicles have integrated USB ports to connect mobiles devices for data and/or charging. This heater uses the traditional 12V cigarette lighter outlet for power, USB ports actually do not have the required amperage to power a device like this. Some vehicles may have a label that says "Power Outlet" to identify what is usually known as a cigarette lighter outlet.

How do I connect this heater to a single 12 volt motorcycle battery? This is a used battery that is in excellent condition. It is no longer in the motorcycle and is fully charged.
You can use a 12V receptacle like SKU#67524, obtain some wiring from a home improvement store along with an electrical box to set this receptacle in. Then assemble it all together.

Or the alternative is to cut the plug off the end of the power cord, strip back the wires and attach some alligator clips/battery terminals that can be picked from a store with electrical supplies or an automotive store.
