Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good hitch, much longer install than anticipated. I bought this for a jayco jayflight slx bunkhouse 30 foot camper. It was an easy enough install but took several hours longer to bolt on than anticipated. Went through two titanium drill bits, and remember to measure twice, drill once (no holes came pre-drilled). I wasn't prepared for the number of metal filings either (me bad!) and I was pulling out metal pieces stuck to my face, scalp, and clothing for several hours after (ouch!). It's a class 1 bolt option, or class 2 weld. (I went with the bolt). In the end, was totally worth the pain and aggravation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from solid unit Solid Unit, holds bike rack with no issues, start with new 5/8" drill bit and pilot bit. Would have been a lot easier to weld if I knew how to do that....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hitch receiver Found out it didn’t quite fit my frame and then camping world would not accept the return because the box was opened.

How much drop from bolt holes to receiver tube. Making sure it will mount to frame and still fit under bumper on my 5th wheel? Thanks

Asked by: Kevin
That is information that I can’t give because it all depends on where you bolt it on the frame. You should also check with the manufacturer of your 5th wheel to make sure your vehicle can handle that kind of load.

What is the TW and GTW that this hitch can handle. Also what is the max size this can fit? My trailer is 74" to the outside of the frame rails. Thank you!

Asked by: tdeaug
Per the Manufacturer: Never tow a car or trailer with this hitch. When bolted on, the hitch acts as a Class I receiver(200 lbs. tongue weight). When welded on, the hitch acts as a Class II receiver(350 lbs. tongue weight). As this hitch is not rated for towing, it does not have a GTW. The current version of the manual states a 77" maximum extension to flat wall frame, 80" maximum extension to horizontal surface of "C" channel or "I" beam.

Could you pull a trailer with a golf cart behind my 5 th wheel

That's what I want to do and it looks like as long as you weld it versus bolting it on you can. Welding makes it class ii

I want to pull a JetSki trailer behind my fifth wheel it weighs about 1000 pounds what do you recommend for a hitch adjustable hitch frame with is 71 inches

Asked by: Gary
First, you will need to consult with the manufacturer of your 5th wheel to verify that the frame is sturdy enough to tow a trailer behind it and what the weight limits are. As for an adjustable RV hitch with towing ability, you can use Curt part# 13703 as it can adjust for RV frames up to 72" wide and can handle 3,500 lb.(Gross Trailer Weight) / 350 lb.(Tongue Weight). We have this hitch listed as SKU# 72187 If this hitch does not appear on our website, please contact Sales @ 888.626.7576 to order.
