Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk! This thing is cheaply made. The connections inside require you to part the copper and then try to tighten the screw down. It’s junk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it's supposed to!! First of all, this thing does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do and what it was made for. To effectively replace a plug that is no longer working or has become defective. I am absolutely CERTAIN that the knuckleheads who gave this a negative review had absolutely NO idea of the first thing to do with this thing. Anyone who has taken SOME kind of Shop class from Junior High to High School, and is at least mechanically inclined to some level of aptitude can effectively make this thing work. Yes, the "instructions" show a diagram where you split the copper wire after it has been stripped into two separate pieces then slide it in between the screw...lol Uhm. What? All you gotta do is cut the wires to size (making sure that the ground (green) wire is a couple inches longer than the hot (black) and common (white) wires), then splice a couple inches of each off and twist the exposed ends tightly. Then unscrew each terminal and slip it through and bend it around to fit on the other side making sure the plate is on TOP of the wires (I found that by turning the wires down and placing it into the slot then placing the plate/screw and then tightening it down to be the easiest) making sure to keep pushing the end tight against the screw as you tighten it down. Every now and then I had to force the wires down, but that's what wiring is supposed to do. Be pliable and do what you want it to do. Just be sure to tighten EVERY screw as tight as you can get it. This IS electricity we're dealing with...lol Keep in mind, I had to do this in the soaking rain because, well, this IS Washington and nothing breaks when it's convenient. So, if I can do it, then any Jow Blow can do it unless you're a whiny, cry-baby who doesn't know what the heck you're doing like the ones who gave a negative review. Thank you Camping World, for having this part at a SUPER reasonable price and saving me and my family's day!!
