Whenever electrical power falls below 104 volts or rises above 132 volts, the EMS automatically shuts down power to the RV.
Once the electrical power rises above 104-volts, or below the 132-volt level, the time delay indicator flashes for the preset time and then automatically restores power to the RV. Remote digital readout features built-in surge fault indication, amperage meter, voltage meter, frequency meter, 3-mode surge protection, reverse polarity protection, open neutral/open ground protection, lost/open neutral protection, and AC frequency protection. Factory setting 15 seconds but can be adjusted to a 2 minute 16 seconds (136 seconds) delay for A/C Protection. Frequency Protection (Low <51Hz, High 69HZ>).
Remote display: Scrolls continuously through all of the power source information: voltage, current, frequency, error codes, and previous errors. Each reading is displayed for 2 seconds. Modular design for easy repair, eliminating removal of unit. Should the software ever change, EMS owners can receive a free upgrade at no cost.
The EMS-HW50C unit is shipped with the remote digital display, cable and extra hardware tucked INSIDE the unit for safe shipping. Simply remove the lid.
This switch allows the user to bypass the EMS in the event of failure, thus allowing AC power into the RV. This does not disable the surge protection portion of the EMS; however, all other features are disabled.
