Additional Information
Engineered for todays tow vehicles.

The AeroShield's aerodynamic design reduces wind resistance and practically eliminates turbulent winds trapped between the tow vehicle and the fifth wheel or trailer, ensuring smoother handling and improved performance. The Aeroshield can be adjusted to virtually any angle allowing maximum aerodynamic efficiency and easily folds down when not in use. Ships completely assembled (includes mounting hooks #2,#6,#8 & #9) ready for installation.

56” x 22” Wind Deflector, Polar White is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works just like it was on a big truck Took longer to pick out the correct clamp end and throw away the packaging than to mount the deflector the first time. Directions are clear, accurate and complete so even I couldn't screw them up. Most of my trailering over the three months since I got the deflector has been in mountainous and fairly windy areas and the additional stability even in 50-60 mph winds was like driving a different outfit altogether. The improvement I got in fuel consumption was right around ten percent ( 1 1/4 MPG ) although I'd expect even better if I get out into some lower elevations and flatter terrain. Only "bad" mark was the noise when we dropped the trailer and stowed the deflector flat: Get up to the speed limit and the deflector sings like the Tabernacle Choir (or the bass section anyway). If I had another truck that I used to pull a trailer, I'd come back and buy another anyway.

    Mounting Clips

Are the mounting clips required for different trucks included, or do I have to state which clips will be shipped with the item?
    Asked by: Jack
A small assortment of clips are included with the wind deflector, specifically clip #'s 2, 6, 8, and 9. A fit chart can be viewed here. Replacement clips or models not included with the deflector can be ordered directly from the manufacturer here.

How does it attach, rails on the camper shell?

and what speed is it geared for what is the maxium
    Asked by: none
The wind deflector is securely fastened to your roof with four nylon straps & vinyl coated hooks that attach between the door and roof. Installation Video
This wind deflector will also work with a luggage/roof rack. If the side rails of your luggage rack are not very tall then the normal installation will work fine on most vehicles.
If the side rails of your luggage rack are taller and you have enough space between the rails, then you can mount the WD500 series wind deflector between the rails. You need at least 48 inches between your rails in order to mount either of these wind deflectors directly on the roof.
On vehicles with the rails closer than 43 3/4 inches together, you can mount any of the wind deflectors with the base on top of the rails.
According to the manufacturer, there has not been a maximum speed allowance that they have come across at this time.
