where to keep it on a travel trailer
We bought a 6x6 inch solid vinyl end fence post and 2 end caps from home depot online. Cut it to length needed to house the ladder. Mounted the post above the rear bumper on the travel trailer by bolting thru the bumper frame supports. Used painted (no rust issue) metal wall studs to create a gap for the spare tire; bicycle mount brackets. Added four 6 inch L brackets to studs to create extra support for post. Modified one cap so it would remove with ease & added a lock pin. Ladder is about 5.5 inches when retracted. It fits perfectly and rides well. Now we have this great ladder with us at all times and did not lose any space.

There have not been a better ladder made:
I have never bought a ladder that does the job like my recent purchase double sided ladder. I'm only 5'4' and do have a little age attached also, and I was almost to the point of buying a different Class A motor coach until we found the 7' double sided ladder from Camping World/Good Sam's that after it is folded it will fit almost any where. It is very light and
compact. I am now able to reach points on our coach that we couldn't reach before without being afraid of falling and what makes it so special is my wife can climb up one side and I on the other. Our money was very well spent and we highly recommend this ladder.

Great Space Saver
What a great space saver. This ladder when folded is about the size of a 4 X 4 post, and fits easily in a pass through storage hold. Once you have the knack, it's simple to set up and refold. It may not look sturdy, but I found it to be every bit as sturdy as any other step ladder. I weigh about 220 lbs and felt completely safe when standing on the ladder. Yes, I recommend this ladder as a great solution to limited storage in RVs. In
fact, I can see bringing this ladder into the house when there's a need.

No shelf
It is a high quality constructed item but it would be even better if it came with a detachable shelf that could be laid across the top two rungs for holding tool etc. I made my own with no problem, but I would have definitely liked it just as much or even more if it came with one!!

A Sturdy Ladder
This ladder is very sturdy! It folds very compactly and
doesn't require much space except for the 7-foot length. I
made room in a storage compartment with my bunk ladder and
starter ladder. They ride very good. Overall, the operation
of the ladder & setting up is very easy and I do like the
two sides. Definitely saves some time because I do not have
to move the ladder every time I need to change or adjust my
position. The one thing that I dislike is that it leaves me
a little short when trying to reach the top side of my
motorhome or the top of the awning. These two areas will
still require getting on the roof top. I have received a
couple of favorable comments from fellow campers. One camper
took me up on a road test to do some cleaning. He was very
pleased. I would recommend this ladder, but be aware of it's
limitations, such as not getting as high up as you desire
and there is no top to place anything. However, I believe
the manufacturer sells an optional top. Other than that,
this a good ladder for RVers.

Excellent Ladder
this ladder is exactly what i was looking for. It is plenty tall at 7ft and opens and closes
easily. Best of all, it takes so little space in my motor home when stored. I only wish i
could have ordered the shelf with it but CW Customer service said they quit selling the
shelf. I would highly recommend this ladder to anyone.

Ladder
Over all the ladder was constructed very well, however it is a little bit heavy. Not much of it is made of aluminum. and the rungs are very narrow.

Nice ladder that is easy to store & carry
Anyone who travels in an RV knows that a ladder is a
necessity. However, storage is paramount. That is exactly
why we purchased this ladder. It stores nicely in the 8-foot
bed of our truck, sets up and breaks down easily, and either
side can be used. I have used this several times since
receiving it and have been very pleased. I would recommend
this to anyone.
