retrofit for pickup
This angle bar is a good strong bar for a motorhome. For a pickup you have to make two
cuts to make all the holes line up. This angle bar should really be power-coated before
we receive it. Overall this bar should work out for me.

Pre-Drilled Angle Steel Kit for Ultra Guard Shield
The Angle Steel Kit made it easy to install the Ultra Guard tow shield on our motorhome. After looking over the reviews, I decided to paint the steel before installing to help prevent it from rusting.

FITS PERFECTLY
THIS ANGLE IRON IS USED WITH THE REAR ULTRA SHIELD MOUNTED UNDER
THE RIG. IT FITS THE SHIELD PERFECTLY AND ALL HOLES LINE UP. I CAN IMAGINE
THE PROBLEMS YOU WOULD HAVE WITHOUT IT.

Angle steel kit for Ultra Guard
Made installation much easier and faster. Added brackets on the ends of the bar to our Class A, just for extra hold. Have a good drill and sharp bits for the extra holes.

Helps with Installation but Rusts
The angle steel brackets makes installation easy.
But make sure you paint it before using it. I didn't and it rusted within the first week of use.

Does Not Fit 2011 Winnebago Adventurer
Mounting bar is great for most RVs but the 2011 Adventurer does not have any place to
attach this bar without the bar being welded to the frame.

Angled Steel Kit
Made installing the UltraGuard easier, although I did have to cut the angle iron to match the cutout in the UltraGuard for the receiver hitch.

What is the thickness of the angle iron? 1/4
Thickness is approximately 1/8" (13 gauge).

Is the bar stainless steel so it wont rust?
This is made of plain steel. The manufacturer does not paint or galvanize the steel because many customers choose to have it welded to the frame, the vapors from doing so with the steel painted or galvanized would be toxic.

Is this angle pre-drilled for Ultra Guard?
Yes, it is pre-drilled.
