Fits well, no issues.
Just replaced my hot water heater and bought this to hopefully extend the tank life. A little tape on the threads and it goes right in. I hate the way Atwood has the gas line running right across the front of the drain so you can't get a tool in there without a hassle, but that is not the fault of the anode rod. I've used these in the past and based on the degradation on the rod, they certainly do their job. Just remember to check it, it does get used up.

Smart and Easy
I have only had this installed for a couple of months, but it went in without any
interference or issue, which is about all you can ask of something like this. I'll be
interested to see how quickly it gets consumed, but it's size makes me think it will last quite a while.

Works well
Easily installed. After 2 weeks camping, the rod was
corroding noticeably, but plenty of material to last quite a
while. I hate to think what damage was done to the inside
if my water heater before I installed the rod.

Anode Rod
Very easy to replace and all one needs is a 1 1/16 socket and some tread sealer. Just a
matter of maintenance that adds up to saving $$$ in the future.
