Online Confusion
This was the correct part for my Travel Trailor and looks to be as good or better than
original part. The online catalog offers two options making it very confusing to
determine whether one or the other is correct. Use the size discripion. assuming you
have the original part out of the water heater, to determine which you need.

ANOD ROD
HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND WE
CHANGE EACH FALL, AND YOU CANNOT EVEN BELIEVE ALL THE
MINERALS THAT ARE ATTACHED TO THE ROD. WE HAVE A
PERMANENT SITE SO ONLY DRAIN WATER HEATER IN FALL, AND
THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT, CHANGE ONCE A YEAR FOR BEST
RESULTS, DEPENDING ON YOUR WATER QUALITY.

Anode for Suburban Water Heaters
The true socket size to remove the drain plug on the Suburban water heater is 1 1/16 inch. After only one season of use, I noticed that the anode was about 1/2 used up and there was a lot of sediment on the remaining anode. Would suggest checking and replacing as needed to save an expensive tank.

GREAT PRODUCT I DIDN'T KNOW EXISTED
I'M GLAD I FOUND THESE. I EMPTIED OUT MY WATER HEATER FOR WINTERIZING AND FOUND THIS TERRIBLY CORRODED ROD AND LOTS OF SEDIMENT IN MY TANK. I DIDN'T REALIZE THESE EXISTED! THESE SIZE OF THE OUTSIDE CAP SAYS 7/8 INCH, BUT I USED 1 1/8 INCH AND WAD A GOOD FIT. GET 2 AND HAVE A SPARE.

little deterioration over three years...taken out at the end

Great Product
This really works! I've been using it for years. I put a new one in at the beginning of the camping season and in a few months, it is gross. PLEASE BRING BACK THIS PRODUCT!

6.2 gal water heater 96 Winnabago ,will this replace??
The model code provided does not appear to be correct, but is in a format for an Atwood manufactured water heater. If the 'R' is substituted with a '6' it makes for a complete model number; G6A7. SKU#18413 is used for Atwood water heaters.
