Additional Information
BAL Scissors Jacks provide fine leveling and stabilizing for travel trailers and fifth wheels. The Standard Scissors Jack provides a sandwich-construction, bearing design to assist in screw operation. The tooth gear design of the scissor arms ensures straight line vertical extension and retraction. The double lead, acme thread drive screw is designed so the jack raises quickly and the crank handle turns easily. When placed in the handle receiver, the crank handle can be easily rotated, even when tilted. Rust-inhibitive E-coating on the jack and shiny zinc coating on the crank handle ensure long life. Mounting hardware is included; jacks may be welded to trailer frame.

• 4" to 24" travel
• Double lead acme thread provides faster up and down operation
• E-coated for superior rust protection
• Mounting hardware and crank handle included
• Two jacks per box

Can these jacks be handle the stress of lifting the travel trailer for leveling or are they just for stabilizing once the trailer is level?

Asked by: Fermat00
No manual RV jack of any brand should be used to lift the camper tires off the ground. They are for 'fine-tune' leveling. Meaning that anything more than 2" side to side out of level is considered excessive. The best way to level safely side to side is to drive up on to blocks or lynx levelers style pads. That being said, a scissors jack will offer slight leveling with the first jack touching the ground giving you the most lift. As you move around the camper, the remaining jacks will give less lift as the other jacks will be secured to the ground giving a strong foundation. Always start with the lowest corner first.

does a crank come with the jacks

Asked by: tom z28
Yes, but it is a cheap light, soft steel that bent and twisted the time I forgot my drill. Does not swivel, so if your jacks are tucked up a bit, you can't even get the socket on the jack nut.
